    This video was really helpful! Thanks for posting this! When you talked about not practicing vibrato right away when you start practicing, I realized that that’s exactly what I do. When I start practicing, the first thing I practice is always vibrato. Now I know that I should not practice vibrato right away when I start practicing.

    But why Indian violinists always sit and play the violin and also keeping the violin in other directions??

    To everybody who is struggling- don't give up. Try to break your progress down into very small chunks . I found that the instructions she gave starting at 4:05 worked beat for me. However I had to stay on 1 Bow per finger movement for a while (like 10 minutes).. Once I got it I was able to move on to two. Then 4. It's a little boring but then you're going to get it and you're going to be happy. AMAZING TEACHER .. 🍎

    See the way baby is focused on you? We had classical playing every morning in assembly before starting lessons in primary school. So now as a man, i have this mad love for the sound of a 🎻. I notice them in lots of songs that i like from all sorts of years. One day im going to take some lessons! I wonder if anyone else who went to my school in that era has the same love🤔 I have an ear for music, i know that much! Oh and your really good btw 👍🏽

    Before the end, that sounded like a nee naw, i was like did somebody call the cops🤷🏽‍♂️🤭 No seriously, i aspire to learn this beautiful sounding instrument, im gona get there. Couple basic questions. 1. How much does it cost for starters? 2. Is it only good to learn if you intend on playing somewhere, or is it ok just for a hobby? 3. Oh and would you have to buy your own?

    Dear Corrie, sorry I missed mon. Night violin chat. Forest fires in my area making it miserable to breath.i practiced vibrato last night though. Have you ever heard of burning the peg end of New strings before installing them. How do you feel about soldering the barrel end on steel strings gs? Or crimping them at the barrel end? Would that give better ring or sustain? How about ivory in the tailpiece trough? Would that give better tone? Any experience with that? Or know someone who has? Thanks very much, bye.

  • @user-do5hd7zb4x
    @user-do5hd7zb4x2 күн бұрын

    Dear Corrie, do you think it advisable to crimp the strings near the barrels? Would this give deeper tone? Thanks!😅

  • @Corrietheviolinist
    @Corrietheviolinist2 күн бұрын

    Noooo...I'm not 100% sure what you mean by crimping or barrels, but I wouldn't advise putting any sort of thing onto your violin like that.
