Can I Teach My Husband to Play the Violin in 10 Minutes?

My husband has never played an instrument before in his life and was such a good sport to see if I could teach him the violin in 10 minutes. He did an amazing job!! And special thanks to little baby Peter for being there too.
Here are the links to a few of the products I was using in the beginning:
My favorite student violin: kennedyviolins...
Everest Shoulder Rest (full size): amzn.to/3UlwLsJ
Things4Strings Bow Frog: Pink - amzn.to/3UlwLsJ Blue - amzn.to/44mRi4A
Violin "frets": amzn.to/3Urs6Wf
Tuner Apps: GuitarTuna, Soundcorset
Other Info:
Violin String Names starting from smallest to largest: E A D G
Finger names on A string: 1-B, 2-C#, 3-D
The bow tapes should be much higher than I placed them in this video. Place them more like 6 inches above your silver winding.
Hope you enjoyed the video!!

Poor violin, that sounded so painful 🤣. My daughter went through this three and a half years ago.

It’s called Things4Strings bow buddy! I linked it in the description. And the tape I used was just regular labels from Office Depot. I also linked them as well! A duet would be so cool if he keeps playing!!!

You should absolutely be the best you possibly can at everything. “Trying too hard” is a phrase made up by people who don’t want to try at all.
