I tried sprinting the other day and pulled both quadriceps. How can I slowly work up to sprinting safely?

Wow. I've been doing them wrong (shoulders flared out) for 50 years. No real shoulder pain. And at one point I was up to 60 consecutive. I'm going to try the thumbs forward thing, but I like to do them on my knuckles, not palms. Anything wrong with that?

If you’re going to suggest how people sprint then you might want to focus on your starts. Awful positioning for a four point start, you might as well go with a standing start.

I have just watched an American girl smash another record in a 2 mile race. Her arms were all ovr the place. Nearly every runners arms cross the magical mid line and if you do not believe me watch a few races.

Thanks for sharing these alternatives. I am 62 years old. I was planning on adding burpees to my calisthenics routine. I was going to exchange it for my jogging training and probably add some jumping rope in a Tabata way. Now, I have a better options, since I suffered Sciatica a couple of years ago. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks again 🙂(liked and subscribed)

Good job! Ppl needs to understand that you can rest after you eat but also you needs to run the blood flow to get all the vitamins and minerals thru all your body at least 3 times per day. That is the perfect way to avoid cancel and renal failures

You’ve got the muscle names and stretches mixed up. Soleus doesn’t cross the knee so by bending the knee you disengage the gastric from stretching and target soleus. By straightening the knee you target gastrocnemius.
