This is really great. I had the distinct honor and pleasure working as a grip on a film for Michael Kenner years ago. I thought I knew so much about being a grip. He taught me much more. As do all grips. Observing and learning how others work the craft is part of the whole deal and makes one a better grip. And it adds to the camaraderie within the department.
doesn't matter how much i try for some reason the bluray and dvd player i have does not play the film anyone have any ideas?
I really love the town but it’s just not culturally diverse enough for me. Great place to visit
"Blue spot on the Montana map" = lefties fixing to crap up the State.

how to be a best boy in hollywood?
"test, test and test some more" aightt
Camera skills are great. But your making this city look better than it is. I was born here raised here. And saying it won't be developed Is a lie. There is history here but we dont want you here and we will make it known. Stop pushing locals out. Stop making it out to be a paradise when locals are suffering and being pushed out.
two thumbs down!
This is what I was looking for. Thank you very much. Understandable and logically explained.
I left a blue state and came to a red state because that’s what I want. Believe me, I was scared to death. I wish I found more open arms and understanding why I had to get out of there. This isn’t the southern boarder. I am red and plan to stay red!
Very nice.
Just listened to the Roger Deakins podcast with M. David Mullen, where he also told the "Northfork" story about the financial issues and the Grip Dept holding back the negatives and now your channel is being suggested by YT.
ty a lot! So what are the movies trailers please?
cold son of bitch in winter
Great Mark Vargo!
I love this place so beautiful ❤

This is superb! Subscibed!
Big thanks the the ‘dolly grip’ for standing in.😝
I stayed in missoula 3 years ago, then I backed to my country. I always can’t forget the peaceful life in Missoula . I’ve travelled many cities around the world, but Missoula is definitely the best one for me, every time I work so tired, memories about Missoula always encourages me to hold on, cause so that one day I can move to Missoula to live ASAP. If someone here who is now living in Missoula , I’d appreciate that you contact me , let me know more about Missoula .
So far into my retirement living my Dream to see America I have traveled 15-States MONTANA is at the TOP of my List. I will Return SOON.
I live in Montana. Missoula is awesome. Do you want proof that the second amendment works? It is the only place I know of where liberals will have an intelligent conversation with you without yelling and screaming and frothing at the mouth, usually. Most of the liberals here are old school. They aren't burning down buildings and assaulting people for wearing MAGA hats. Then again, a lot of Montanans are gun-owning conservatives and exercise their second amendment rights!
Eddy, there are democrat liberals, then there are California/Seattle democrat liberals.
@Paul Kryder What hate? Have a soy latte and go find a safe space, wimp!
@Paul Kryder You mean BLM is a group of tree huggers? The left is tolerant until you disagree with them. Then, they revert to identity politics and call you a racist, xenophobic, homophobic, etcetera ad nauseum. True, there are some right-wing extremists that are vile but almost all of the violence we are seeing today comes from the left. And yes, liberals and conservatives get along well in Montana. It is not questioning someone's intelligence to state that you cannot have an intelligent conversation with most liberals. It is a statement of fact. So go piss on somebody else's leg and tell them it's raining because I'm not buying into your BS!
@Paul Kryder If you did your homework you would find that the criminals were known, anti-Trump activists that attempted the kidnapping. I am not hateful. I do not tolerate the blind hatred of the left. Antifa and BLM criminals have caused over two billion dollars in damage. Most of those affected were black people of modest means. Single parents having to take a bus for two hours to go shopping for food because looters burned down the neighborhood stores is a tragedy. I don't see right-wingers burning down buildings, assaulting citizens, looting businesses, and burning flags. Put the kool-aid down and take the red pill! Oh. a coyote in immigration terms is a trafficker in humans, in case you were wondering. Next time your in town we can go to Missoula, have a beer, and sing Kumbaya! Look me up when you get out of your safe space and have recovered from your misconceived microaggressions!
@Paul Kryder You’re wrong about the Whitmer kidnapping. They were not right wingers, they were fascist. Thank you for the grammar tip. If you want to spend the rest of your life straining gnat manure from pepper that is your business. I don’t hate anyone. However, zealots like you that spend all day virtue signaling and trying to find a racist under every rock and around every corner need to get a life. Good luck with that!
I'm from South Tyrol (Italy) and one day I would like to move to Missoula and settle there!!!
A blue shit spot
Thank you. It was very usefull.
Worst city in Montana
That would be bozeman because of people. Or billings because its ugly
Good job, Rob! Keep on representin'!
Fascinating video! Glad I stumbled upon this!
i cant wait to move back to missoula, Florida suckss haha
@Paul Kryder something like that , its nothing but flat land down here
Keep the Leftists outta there, and you'll continue to be great.... Once the Bolsheviks ruin one city, they pack their bags, and move onto the next..... PARASITES.
Most useful video about reading light ! Thank you 😀👍
Really interesting.Cheers!
Very helpful. I use a Sekonic L478DR with the dome and, switchable, a 5° viewer reflective measurement add-on. I bought it after watching Joe Brady's videos. Now, I can go a step further thanks to yours. THANK YOU, Mark!
Not in the industry, just interested - that was fascinating
