Thank you
Thank you.
You went too fast on this one. Usually you’re just my speed
You can always pause the video. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@@GrammarHero no I did of course:) was like the steps were too complicated or something. Just couldn’t get it
I wish the actual test had questions this easy
It's a computer-adaptive test, so some questions will be easier than this and some will be harder. Also, the test really doesn't go beyond freshman high school math, so it REALLY is this easy.
D
Just pick the only odd number no need for arithmetic
true but if they give you two odd numbers you're fucked if you cant do it
You have to know the arithmetic, because the numbers won't always be obviously odd or even.
thank you!!!
You're welcome, and good luck!
studied the day before my picat. scored a 69 thanks grammar hero and just verified my score
Congrats, and I wish you the best if you join the military!
How you know to add 7 to both sides?

its basic math
Of course, it is.
@@GrammarHero ok, and also why is your name grammar hero and you do math😅
Just made a freaking 9 on my asvab I haven’t went to school in so long I just wanted to see and man I’m behind I’m 25 trying to go to the navy do I even try or is studying really going to help me
Nah a 9 is craaazzy 💀
Fuck I thought you miss typed 90...Yes dude. If the navy is your dream and that's what you want to do. Pick an mos before. See what score you need for it. And study as much as you need to get that fucking score. Work fucking hard, like your life depends on it. If you're not working hard, then it's probably not something you actually want to do in your life and you should find something else that really drives you instead
A lot of people really have never done math by hand; that's usually what gets them. Thankfully, we work out every question by hand on this channel!

well done
I take my test today. I feel really good but still nervous a little bit. Wish me good luck and thank you in advance.
Good luck!
Can you rember any questions that were on there
@@MMAtechniques a lot of factoring, fractions and find the area for me
My fractions playlist has 97 videos in it for a reason! Fractions: kzread.info/head/PLhlU-GzAQeG3rQjliSl-ThN_L2lF1iABE
I've been study your videos for the past couple days, my test date is August 6th i'm super nervous but i can say that i have confidence because i'm studying you reference sheet also.
Good luck! You got this!
This was so simple and I knew how to do it yet was so unconfident I went against my original answer of D😭

My head works differently. I did all through head calculus by doing 26/8 = 3.25 which is not that hard since 8 x 3 is 24 and the remaining 2/8 is 0.25. So the hourly wage is $3.25. So for 37 hours of work: To simplify 37 x 3 in my head I do 40 x 3 = 120 and 3 x 3 = 9. So 120-9 is 111 which is the answer to 37 x 3. What remains is calculating the $0.25 of the salary per hour: I first calculate 37 x 0.25 by seeing what whole number fits in there. So 9 x 4 is 36 and 1 remains, meaning you need to add another 0.25 x 4. So 37 x 0.25 = 9.25. Now add these two together: 111 + 9.25 = 120.25
26 x 37 /8 = 13 x 37 / 4 = (10 + 3) x (9 + 1/4) = 90 + 27 + 13/4 = 90 +27 + 3 + 1/4 = 90 + 30 +1/4 = 120 1/4 answer A
48/100x25 = 12
Can someone explain to me how the hell you got a different category of dividing decimal by whole numbers but then sometimes the whole numbers is a decimal just in disguise
He *should* get paid much, much more than any of the answers.
3.25*40=130, 3.25*3=9.75, 130-9.75=120.25 First, make the math as easy as possible.
It depends on the person but for me doing 37*3.25 is easier. It's just 7*3.25+30*3.25 and in my opinion addition is easier than subtraction.

Thank you, grammar hero I went from a 15 to 50 swearing in tomorrow I studied probably a total of 16 hrs and your videos where 90℅ of that and I just wana say thank you so much I'm going to suggest you to everyone either going in or just learning math
@@jacobcotes6249 Congrats, and I wish you the best in the military!

wow, this is amazing,i never knew that this was going to be simple🤔👏
Hey Gramar Hero, I’m 17 and using your channel as help for the ASVAB since I want to take it next year after High School. Im confused on this video as why you used fractions instead of converting to decimal form in your 30 minute tutorial video? Just need a little more clarification because when I do it the other way, I get a completely different answer. Thank you
Can you do question for math and mechanical comprehension of the sift?
I simply divide 12 by 25 and multiply the answer by 100 simple
I love you
''A man is paid $26.00 for 8 hours work. How much should he be paid for working 37 hours at the same hourly wage?'' Which video should I watch that would help me with this question? Thank you!
I'll see if I can post a video with the solution to that question sometime tomorrow.
@@GrammarHero Thank you Hero!

Would this work for a amplitude test because im also trying to be a electrician
I’m really struggling dude. No matter what I do nothing clicks. All I want is to pass the ASVAB

just gonna go ahead and accept the fact i will not be a pilot lmao 11B here i come, get ready rangers im going airborne after basic 🥵
might be able to do math, but certainly doesn't know anything about spelling
What subjects is the ASVAP over
I have no idea what's going on in the cards section 😂 I did it right, but the thing was I literally counted the plain red cards only without the kings/queen/jest cards 🤦🏾♂️ Edit: I had. I get it now, the ones with the kings/queen/jest cards have red in them
Thank you!
You're welcome, and good luck!

I did it in a much more complex way in my brain. I said 25+7 = 32. Then I took the very complex calculation of 4 x i = 32. Now, I had to apply rules of trigonometry with a mixture of geometry to figure that out, but i came up with 8
