    Is there a way to turn off the toothbrush for traveling? One trip, I put it my bathroom bag for a weekend trip (so I didn’t take my charger) and when I arrived at hotel, the battery was dead. I assume that it turned on several times or stayed on somehow during the luggage handling and drained the battery.

  • @SmartPennyPincher
    @SmartPennyPincherАй бұрын

    Not that I'm aware of. I put mine in the travel case. Maybe the switch got bumped enough times to drain the battery. If you put it in the case, that should stop an accidental power drain.

    @@SmartPennyPincher I am able to recharge the battery but it simply will not hold much power. Again, it will not charge a cell phone. Maybe NexPow uses cheap or second hand lithium ion batteries inside the unit.

    Did you coat the bottom of the pan when seasoning it? I missed that part. Also, it's great to see you seasoning it only once, and getting great results after that. And you can use normal (mild) soap on it, but then you want to warm it up so it's totally dry, then put a light coating of oil before putting it away. The soap shouldn't hurt the seasoning underneath, but it will presumably remove any oil that would otherwise be protecting it.

  • @SmartPennyPincher
    @SmartPennyPincherАй бұрын

    Yes I put oil on the bottom as well. It helps protect it from corrosion when I clean the pan
