Thanks Andre. One thing that could be holding up TMNT is the music rights. CBS ( aka Paramount Global) has what seems to be a great relationship w/ Weigel providing shows to MeTV since the network started. Such as The Andy Griffith Show, Perry Mason, Hogan's Heroes, Carol Burnett, Twilight Zone etc, have all aired or still air on the network. Plus CBS/ Paramount had been a co- owner of Decades ( now Catchy Comedy) w/ Weigel for a few years. Also Start TV is co - owned by Weigel( 50%)and CBS ( 50%). So hopefully we'll get to see TMNT on MeTV Toons in the not to distant future. Great interview w/ Neal btw. Did he disclose any programs to you that will air but you didn't discuss in the piece you posted? Also the recent sale of CBS could affect what will be available.

Verizon Fios in the NYC/North Jersey area needs to wake up and add this channel asap. Boomerang is still not in HD after all these years and Cartoon Network lost their magic a long time ago when they turned into endless rerun marathons of Gumball and Teen Titans Go. I have to disagree with MeTV Cartoons saying they will never get into original animation--never say never in this life!! I do however understand their mentality that for now it is more important to simply cement their channel and make sure the channel works and is profitable. Original animation might be something they could dip their toes into maybe after 10 years or so. Have a standing contract with one studio to produce 2 or 3 series for them or develop their own in-house studio. For now i wish them well and please include Deputy Dawg!! They need to look into some american action cartoon blocks or importing some action anime blocks or both. Jem, Bigfoot, Inhumanoids, Robotix, Visionaries, Centurions,Thundarr, Power Lords--let's go!! Starblazers, Voltron, Robotech, Battle of the Planets, Tranzor-Z, Gundam, Teknoman--let's go!! How about a block of Sid and Marty Krofft shows in the weekend overnight hours?!! What about weekday overnight stuff like Great Grape Ape or how about 6 am Groovy Ghoulies or Plastic Man?!!! Anyway let me stop now. I know they're working hard to get the channel off to a good start.

Personally, I'd love an animated Power Rangers series. We could really use more action cartoons, I'd say create a whole new thing, with little hints saying 'Yes, the original universe still exists and all your favorite characters exist, but we're doing our own thing, please just let us be our own thing.'

I have to say that Neil Sabin is my hero! His efforts has given me so much joy. I have longed to watch classic cartoons for many years. When I saw your yt channel video saying that MeTv Toons was launching. It made me very happy. Thanks to black nerd comedy for that. God bless you guys!

Most TV stations that has MeTVToons aren't available on Cable or Satellite, so you all need to call your cable/satellite provider to add the local MeTVToons channel.

Love this project, but I’d like to advocate for a way to view the cartoons in their original form, controversial elements and all. I understand the need to edit some of the poorly-aged stuff for younger audiences, but from a preservationist standpoint, an option to watch them unedited (maybe age restricted?) would be really appreciated. It’s not pleasant, but it’s a really interesting lens into history that I think we’re slowly starting to lose access to.

People need to be educated on the antenna, and education starts at being a child. Children gravitate toward cartoons, and other juvenile live action blocks, and also some adults. People didn't think the antenna programming all cost money and are lazy or think it's not worth it anymore. We need to change that perspective. Or the free to air industry will collapse. Also marketing to children brings in money, too bad the fcc got involved with that. Needs Dennis the Mennis, CBS story break, abc weekend special, the twisted tales of Felix the cat, voltron, thunder cats, care bears, pretty piggies, barnyard commandos, blinky bill, sailor Moon, dragon Ball z, mighty mouse, mighty Max, widget, Richie Rich, loonatics, fleisher Superman, fantastic four, super friends, maybe movies like cool world, Roger rabbit, Heath Cliff is so good. The magician, where on earth is Carmen San Diego. Mega Man, medabots, Flint, the time detective. Where's Waldo. The Tick. The Muppets. Rugrats. Because and butt head, gummi bears.

The thumbnail for this video made me really curious so I truly had to see it. Your videos are always fantastic and I truly do need to make more time for them myself but I must confess that my life is very busy right now so I have missed a few of them but always glad to come back when I have time. Oh man Metv is doing so great and I simply can’t wait to look it up in the fall. My Summer schedule is way over booked so I’m putting it off until the fall but it’s definitely a Chanel that I want to see. Also it’s just a true treat to know that the guy from the channel is so friendly and upbeat and he loves cartoons so much and he even would like to have Disney and he values those older cartoons from Disney for what they are and not what they are associated with. Truly a fantastic announcement and it’s really nice to hear about what they are doing for Bugs Bunny and Scooby-doo who truly deserve as much love as possible and even more so!

Since we already have Speed Racer and Marine Boy, it would be cool if they got the rights to some other retro anime like Astro Boy, Cyborg 009, Mazinger, Tetsujin 28, and Macross and some "spliced" anime like Voltron and Robotech to make a "Japanamation" block.

I know that they have Totally Tooned In, the 1999 half hour series comprised of Columbia Color Rhapsodies and UPA cartoons, BUT... do they also show the standalone version of Color Rhapsodies? I know they have the standalone UPA cartoons.

You're doing a great job with this channel - I'm 70 Years old and it's Great to see cartoons from these time periods. I didn't watch too many cartoons from the 80's, except for the super friends, in the 90's I caught the Powerpuff girls, the animated Batman cartoons, Teen Titans, the original one. I don't like the teen titans go cartoons, they were silly and funny in the beginning, but they've really deteriorated lately. What I'm looking for, and you're hinting at it on this piece, is what I would like to call "the superhero block" - Do you have Felix the Cat cartoons? As I said, I don't watch everything you have on , which is good. It gives me a chance to get some sleep. But I'm hoping and waiting for some toons I requested, such as The Mighty Heroes, which could be put in the superhero block, and the one cartoon superhero I forgot about where I found the Mighty Heroes - Mighty Mouse - also, from the 60's, as I mentioned, Astro Boy. I hope you won't push too many of the popular cartoons that I like off the channel, which, for me, includes Wacky Races, Rocky and Bullwinkle, among others . I'm looking forward to the Bugs Bunny block you have coming up. And, again, I hope to see a super hero block of toons soon, hopefully, with not only DC toons, but the Marvel cartoons as well, and, maybe, other brands of superhero toons I caught a few times early in my life. I can't remember what they were, but I would know them if and when you play them. Maybe some from even earlier than what you have. And Space Ghost, Herculoids, and, even, Freakazoid , and, Frankenstein jr and the Impossibles And Underdog, And one other thing - this is a little way off, but for spooktober I would personally recommend things like Casper the friendly ghost, obviously, one I mentioned before, Milton the Monster, - check KZread for that one, maybe, What you mentioned before, Frankenstein jr & the Impossibles, a reach there, and, another reach, the Scooby Doo series.there are some others I'm not familiar with which you would know about. And Ghostbusters the cartoon. And the ones I mentioned above. Again, Great job 😅😊😊❤❤ Look forward to see what you have in mind for the future. Thanks again
