You kinda have to be in order to advance alone into enemy territories and report back without getting caught. The problem with Bee is that they tend to make him a brawler too, which isnt fitting for the scout archetype. Hot Rod and Springer fit much more into the roles of frontline brawlers

Basically being an obsessed transformers fan at this point I can say with all my soul I'm looking forward to this. For literal years now transformers comics, movies, and shows have been the war time stories. So I'm loving this kind hearted goofy take on the young versions of these characters. It's a kids movie and honestly transformers needs that right now.

True. Although I will say I thought Mutant Mayhem's comedy worked in their trailer because it felt like natural vibes from the actors improvising as the Turtles where this feels more scripted comedy, but yes, the trailer even shows there's going to be some possible dramatic moments in this.

Both are owned by Paramount, so it's not too surprising that they'd give off those similar vibes since I'm sure this one will also be aimed at kids while still having that slight edge to get the PG rating.

Grew up with the franchise and been more open unlike others. I mean I sought put a Legacy Rescue heroes chase fig cause felt be a sleeper hit and it was more fun than expected would be. Started watching the series and await next ones. I'm getting Prime vibes via designs and mainly the faces, can see the Mainframe style too. All in for it. I wanna know who that is that tosses them to the ground. Head screams Soundwave to me.

nope the casuals are the ones complaining go watch all TF channels all are praising this thing, is only the people who just watched the MOVIES and even those are dumb as F as the movies as well have a ton of comedy, G1, Beast wars, Prime all have comedic moments like this trailer show so we hardcore fans are more than used to see comedy in this franchise.

For a while now, animated Transformers projects have been either aimed squarely at children, or aimed at older collectors but so dour, like they are so self conscious about being seen as children's entertainment that they overcompensate on the seriousness and forget to be fun. I'm up for an animated movie that's aiming for a more general audience. This looks fun.

We gotta talk about that premiere. I don't think there's going to be any way of topping a trailer premiere at 250,000 feet above the Earth. So surreal and freaky.

I'm not even a Transformers fan, but this movie looks really fun! The animation is super unique like you mentioned, and regardless of the final product I respect that they chose to try something new with the story and make it a prequel. The way I see it is that a new generation of kids will be introduced to Transformers the way adult fans were when they were younger and imo that's really cool, so I hope people don't dwell on the fact that it's a comedy too much. At the end of the day it's a franchise about robots that transform into cars lol, so I don't mind there being a more lighthearted tone

Yeah, me too. Personally, having gone from a "dark and gritty" phase movies, which I do love don't get me wrong, it's nice to have a movie that can let loose on a lighthearted and fun story

Transformers, a franchise intended for children. Doesn't mean we grownups can't enjoy it as well, but the kids have to come first. So I'd say it's pretty great that we finally have a movie that gets that 😊

I’m excited for this. The first Transformers animated film since 1986.

As someone who never was into transformers as a kid and is kinda interested as a adult I’ll be seeing this

I hope Optimus and Megatron's frienship is so good and awesome it becomes DEVASTETHINGLY SAD that in the future they become enemies I want to have so much fun watching their frienship grow that I cry when it doesnt work out

He finally said “like a play cousin” i feel like I helped to influence that line because I commented on a more recent video about why he never says it anymore

I'm interested in seeing Cybertronian society before the Great War, that Transformers have lost the ability to transform, to be rediscoveredis so fascinating. That the trailer also shows what seem to be the arrival of the Quintessons is nice because they are a cool antagonistic force not used often. I hope we get a good idea of the timeline in this movie.

A whole movie without humans? I’m sold! I don’t mind human companions, but considering how much they took over the live action movies, I want this to be good! I just got done watching the War for Cybertron Trilogy, I’m ready for this!

I’m excited for this one, also because I heard there’s gonna be more movies after this, I hope that the voice cast evolves to sound more like the characters we all know and love. Especially Bee, yeah he’s the comic relief funny guy of the team, but when shit goes down he throws hands

I’m a huge Transformers fan and very excited for this for the same reasons. I am a little hesitant though as it does seem a bit too silly. I highly recommend the IDW comics for anyone that really wants to deep dive into the lore, and I wish this followed that story a bit more closely. There’s more of a class struggle dynamic that led to the war.

You know something, the animation was definitely giving me Bionicle vibes. I knew something felt familiar

Honestly the vibe this trailer gave me was the same vibe that Transformers Animated gives off. It's familiar but you can tell there's something new to it. I do hope if this continues the tone shifts and the humor shifts with it. Like first movie has lighthearted humor and if/when they do the war the humor becomes more dry or dark in its delivery.

I believe this movie will do exactly what mutant mayhem is doing. The first movie was lighthearted and fun. The second movie will have a more serious approach.

The character coloration do look like the 90s 3D animation. All chromatic but more smoother... Nostalgic. Can't wait to see it over and over

I believe the reason why people believe this trailer flopped is because of how messy it is, I felt like one scene would be serious and the next scene is a goofy punchline from bumblebee.

5:51 😂 Haha! I get what you're saying about big-budget Saturday Morning cartoons. I really liked that CGI show ReBoot.

The way Andre explained the type of tone that Transformers One is going for is literally perfect 👌🏻👌🏻. And genuinely, I do not mind it at all, just because its going in a lighthearted direction like those shows, doesn't mean is going to be dumbed down. It's a tone that I find nicely akin to the original Teen Titans '03 and Ninjago, and to me, I'm in 🔥🔥. For me, the humor is coming across naturally imho, at least it isn't forced. And there are serious moments that the movie's showcasing, like the incredible phrase of "More than meets the eye" that sounded so good 💯. Honestly, I've got no issues with it, I'm very excited for TF One 🔥🔥

I can’t believe I’m about to watch the classic OG show’s first 4 episodes on the big screen next month and an all new brand new animated movie on the big screen in the same year!! I hope Elita gets a part in the Rollerball derby. A little Elita/Alita shout out I can get behind. I got some Ninjago vibes when Alpha Trion gave them each a cog. The real test is when will we see the Bionicle rejects. Every TF movie since Revenge of the Fallen has had some rejects. Will it be in the end so we have some faceless goons to fight in the final battle or what?

I hope this takes some inspiration from the recent Transformers comics. Those have been some of the best content we've in the franchise in a long time.

Like I've said elsewhere, trailers always lean in on the jokes. Emotional, dramatic scenes usually need to take their time, or need a lot of context to make sense. They don't lend themselves to being cut out and pasted together for a trailer like a joke does.

I still remember when this movie was originally announced back in 2014, after the box office success of Age Of Extinction. They went back and forth with production, Boulder Media was attached at one point, and we didn’t get any details about it until like, a year after Bumblebee, and everyone being on-board with it being a reboot, Josh Cooley directing, Chris Hemsworth getting lessons from Peter Cullen on getting the Orion/Optimus voice right, etc. Now, ten years after that announcement, we finally get the animated Transformers film set on Cybertron. I hope the wait will be worth it.

This Looks like a Fun Prequel Movie, I’m surprised Chris and Scarlet are voicing the Characters Together as the last time they were in Avengers Although I’m wondering how the Story will see to the Creation of the Autobots and Decepticons, anyway I can’t wait to see it.

Once its on Cybertron I'm all in. Just wondering how they will show the spilt between prime and Megatron.

I like that Bumblebee gets his G1 Toy "Battle Mask" and has his War For/Fall Of Cybertron energon blades. Elita-1 sounds good, and I would have preferred a sleeker car alt mode, rather than a Tron-style bike. Megatron's "H-Tank" mode was expected, but his voice is pretty awful and way out of character then I'm used too. Kind of like how Beast Wars Megatron was in comparison to G1, you know? Were there rumors Idris Elba was supposed to be Megs? He should have been cast. Jason Momoa would have worked too. Orion Pax/Optimus Prime looks and sounds pretty good. Nice alt mode as we've seen the toy from the Amazon preorders, so I like the blend of Siege/FOC/Cyberverse and Animated to his truck and robot modes. I agree with you about what is called "stunt casting" with Celebrities used instead of professional voice actors. No offense to the person playing him, who did very good, but it is so frustrating that Dan Gilvezan could not have been cast as Bumblebee, just one more time on the big screen, you know? The animation looks absolutely stunning!!! It certainly is not in the tone of the seriousness and adult animation that the War For Cybertron Siege/Earthrise/Kingdom Trilogy on Netflix was, but this Movie looks better than I expected, so it may be a fun romp! Keep up the good work, play cousin! 👊😎🍻

I definitely see that Reboot quality you were talking about, but something about the lighting animation is giving the vibes of that recent Scooby Doo movie.

I was also not expecting such a light tone, but I didn't dislike it. It was a nice surprise and the trailer got me more excited than I expected. Definitely gonna check this one out in theaters. And yeah, they are hoping for this to be the start of a trilogy, so there could be a gradual shift going down the line.

An origin story is very welcome. But i hope that a sequel will get more down to business. Orion Pax and D-16 start off as friends, but we know that cant last. Eventually their friendship will fall apart, which will lead to the war.

If they do the ending, in present day of the Post war era, they should have the older Optimus Prime reprised by Peter Cullen as like a cameo, as well Frank Welker for the older Megatron

This is the best way we could have gotten a full on Cybertron transformers movie, it was going to be CG anyway so you might as well just make an animated movie, Chris is doing a great job with Optimus Megatron will take some getting used to but overall I'm excited I love the vibe the animation I can't wait to see more

For some reason, I couldn’t stop smiling during this trailer. Though the comedy kinda threw me off for a bit, I think I’m just so excited that we’re getting an animated Transformers movie. Really digging the animation style they’re going for and I hope the movie turns out really good.

Best part of G1 was that it had stakes. It was funny but it was also serious. Way more serious than kids shows usually are. Batman the animated series was kind of like that. But it wasn't owned by a toy company who is having low toy sales. This is just a way to get more toy revenue by Christmas. Jokes on them, children are not going to care enough to want toys and the toys are going to be too expensive to own enough of them for them to get invested.

We finally get a Bumblebee that can actually talk!!! I hope that means they will get rid of that talking thru radio thing for good. It was kind of interesting at first, in the first live action movie (and thankfully it wasn't annoying in the bumblebee movie) but got real tiring real quick. Talking Bee!!!!! Yay! Lol

I only wish that transformers prime Predacons rising had been a theatrical movie, but I am completely fine with it being a TV movie.

I really love the animation and action, but I feel like there's something off about the voices. Not the voice actors, persay, but like. They sound like flesh and blood humans, as opposed to robots.
