Southeast Minnesota Sirens
Southeast Minnesota Sirens
Hey, I’m from the Midwest, but I have an interest that mainly focuses on Outdoor Warning Sirens, and that means the content is normally siren tours or tests, or something related to or with sirens. I record sirens normally in the Twin City Metro and the Midwest area. I normally don’t get sirens tests out a lot, but I get other content out. Feel free to subscribe or ask questions!

Thanks Ethan!
In Wisconsin, the 6:45 Activation got cancelled because of possibility of severe weather, and I was pissed off because I wanted to record a Siren at the 6:45 activation. But you know. Great catch tho! Sounds nice!
Thanks! Sucks for Wisconsin though.
@@southeast_minnesota_sirens04yeah… No problem!

No idea how I haven’t seen this yet, but this is absolutely amazing.
Nice

This goes hard
Thanks
Did you see a KTG10?
Probably would’ve included one if he saw one
No I did not
As of this month it is still active. There is a video taken on the 6th of it sounding.
I like the quality of the drone, awesome video!
It's not a T135 AC it's a P-50!
It's a T-135AC on FS Controls
The Wild should switch the Goal song and Win song Let’s Go Crazy should return as the goal song and Shout should become the win song
Lol
Anyone know of any of the rest of Hennepin Countys sirens are solar powered this one is the only one that is solar powered unless Hennepin County wanted it that way surprised not a single City within the county took a try at solar power instead of just traditional battery back up
Please don’t replace this powerful thunderbolt with some silly speakers.
Nice!
For the most part, wasps don't really harm sirens, it just makes it a bit of a bitch to get good drone footage.
And it's still there
Great footage man! I love seeing the views from the drone nice!
it a 3t22 but hey its a 10/12 siren
T H I C C
Roundback 2001s rust faster and why does the back housing rust like that then thier modern counterparts up to the current 2001-130 also SLP must upgrade sirens one at a time when the older ones fail or die this one might be next for replacement
Yeah, I think they have a near fully updated system, but there is an SRN somewhere in the city as well
dub
Epic vid nick! Great footage
Thanks!
you can see me in the orange shirt 💀 nice video
lol, thanks
Your drone skills are on point.
Thank you so much!

Nice!
Thanks!
This has to been the most popular choice for Replacement of older Sirens nearly every city in Minnesota with the exception of Minneapolis MN (Whelen Vortex R4s)
Let me guess too high to replace with a 2001-130 since all the others are 130s
Southwood Park is still a DC, same with the one in the relative area of Hyland
Still think if this could of been disassembled into parts and taken down in the Freight Elevator then this could be saved or even refurbished and put back up in the city of Bloomington MN
I wish they would do that I really want to record this siren
I love the 3 note chime I wish towns used it more
Alternate title: Twister warning device makes dog’s ears bleed so he howl
The SRN at the fire station replaced an allertor, while the rest of chanhassens 2001s are just new. There was a newspaper article from around 1997 or so that showed how shoreview was smaller and had 10 more sirens for adequate coverage, while chanhassen only had 1 that barely covered the town.
Can you send me that link to the article
