I contacted the city of Bloomington asking if they could set this siren off for me. They said sure, and I was pumped to see this in action. It did a short attack as requested. The rotator did not work though, but it’s still cool!
History on the siren: This siren was installed on the Riverview Office Tower in October 1978 to expand the system of Bloomington, MN’s sirens. It was later shut off in November 2019 and a 2001-130 went up down the block. They got it hooked up for the short attack and it worked.
