I Love how you added “Where is my mind?” At the end of the video, referencing fight club, and the 16 bit esque style of Hotline Miami. This video hit a lot of points that many videos don’t, excellent job.

Regarding the rape scene in Midnight Animal, Wedin and Söderstrom have stated in interviews that the point of the scene is to communicate that they _won't_ be depicting further sexual violence. That's why the director cuts it off before it happens.

I personally love this game and its storyline (the mystery behind 50 blessings is intriguing and I like characters like Evan Wright), but the meta themes I really dislike. I dislike how Richard addressed the audience in the first game because it took me out of the story, and Martin’s story has a similar issue for me (it’s why I don’t think that a story should address the audience unless it’s a comedy), and it just feels so hypocritical and stupid to me. The reason people enjoy violence in media is because people enjoy tension in media, fight scenes are a good way to add tension, and violence adds to that, it doesn’t mean you like hurting actual fucking people, and wouldn’t this game being so violent be going against the negative aspects of violence that the story is trying to convey? This is why people clamber for a sequel and supposedly missed the point. Because the point is stupid, and because when you directly address the audience then it takes the audience out of the story, thus there’s no reason to care. Sorry if I put this comment already, I had this video replay in my watch later (since I forgot to remove it) and don’t see it, although I’ve put similar thoughts in other videos comment sections.
