It would not end fossil fuels; we use fossil fuels for many things.

Deuterium-Helium3 reaction is one thousand times less reactive than Deuterium-Tritium. Therefore it requires more extreme conditions for its sustenance. Helium-3 is also kind of a very rare material, albeit can be easily mined on the surface of the Moon...
They are making the He3 by fusing Deuterium. The reaction rate difference is actually not that big. It helps that Helion has a low electron to ion temperature ratio.
At 3:08, it says the sun's density is only 160g/CM3. That can't be right 🤔
