Mann I miss my Rx7s 😢 I had 3 2nd gens in my early to mid 20s they were such cool fun and fast cars so many people say there soo unreliable cars but I drove mines so hard on a daily basis and I never broke down or left me stranded engine wise.. I went thru a few transmissions but I'd go to the junkyard and pull another and swap it in love the video miss the sound of a rotory coolest sound especially bridgeported just the coolest

The Miata was designed for a bigger motor but the company would not allow it due to $$ and lack of sales instead going for a more practical power plant. The Toyota MRII same deal. You can fit a Camery V6 in MRII with a very few changes such as motor mounts. They actually sell the kit online which makes me believe that someone at Toyota got shot down on their V6 or V8 concept they keep the overall design just take out the big power plant for a sellable smaller one. A good idea since as with this car someone who cannot handle over 500HP can go into a ditch very easily at not a very high speed and ruin the car.
