'72 Chevelle High School Daily Turned 500hp Daily Burnout Machine
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
When we met William Rhodes at a Burnyard event and saw this cherry '72 Chevelle, there's no way he wasn't getting an invite back into the yard. William kicked off with a Chevelle in high school... where do you go from there?? You put an LS3 hot cam motor in there and party, that's where you go from there.

dubc60 stock sure, but even a mild big block is capable of keeping up with cammed and bolt on ls and the torque is a much different feeling than an ls power plant

Nick Grillo I know what a big block feels like. I’ve owned many of different makes. Most are disappointing. They’re pretty expensive to build. Hard to work around in the engine bay. I mean they’re cool and all. But the fact is the ls is simply a better engine.

More builds like this please Hoonigan!
There were three guys in my high school class that had '71-'72 Chevelle's, one '71 Tempest, one '72 Olds GS400. There were 41 total people in my class. In the late 80's these cars were $1200-$2000. Common first car along with the Novas and some of the crappier Chryslers.
Daily transmission makes my day that much better thanks

Ahh I love a good rolling burnout!
Beautiful whip.
I knew 3 or 4 guys who drove Chevelles and Novas to my high school in So Cal. We had them in the auto shop from time to time and they were fun to work on.
Mad respect guy shows up with a nice muscle car and doesn't destroy it! 🤙
Bad ass! I be proud to have this car
finally, a muscle car and not a pony car or import with an LS. Been awhile. feels like forever. post-watch edit: I really love that choice of tire. Maybe its just the stock engine power, or actually the rubber he's stredding... but I really like being able to see the wheel burning away and the smoke wrapping around the wheel as it spins and not just causing blinding white smoke everywhere.
Idk if Hoonigan will see this, but if Zach wants to get rid of the rag joint. A 80's/ 90's jeep Cherokee steering shaft (it has a hard fitting and a universal joint) fits onto the chevy column and steering box. I've done it to every old chevy I've ever owned.

I’m a senior in high school and my dad has a 1970 black and yellow chevelle that has been sitting for 25+ years and we are working on it now , and it’s also good because my dad has a repair shop so I get to spend time building a badass car and I get to pull up in a cool whip
