I hit 45 and started feeling much less confident, as so many of us do at this age, makeup has become part of my well-being routine. I’m not trained and am certainly no expert, I just enjoy creating wearable looks and trying out new releases. I particularly love luxury makeup but do like to try affordable options too.

I have Charlotte’s 5 minute face kit (no longer on her website) and the highlighter wand in that kit reminds me a lot of the new foundation stick in terms of sheerness, glow, and feel of the formula. The highlight wand is listed as ‘out of stock’ on her website.

I saw a CT MUA apply the Unreal Skin overtop of her makeup at the end to get a desired glowy effect. I plan to use it in the middle of the face as a glow product. I do not want glow on my forehead or chin. Flawless Filter does not give me as glowy an effect as I'd like, so Unreal Skin might work better for me.
I think the serum and glowy primers didn't do the foundation stick any favours, especially as you said you have an oily tzone - you've started with VERY glowy base :)

I have the old moisturiser in the same shade. I really like it. In terms of value for money I think a tube of it lasts me much longer than a foundation plus I can skip moisturiser some days

The Chantecaille bronzer in Goa is my favorite bronzer i also have the Armani in 120 but i just love my Chantecaille Goa bronzer but it did come not attached to the compact for that amount of money but they did refund me . Its an expensive brand but the complexion products skint tint, rose tint, future gel foundation and lotus powder is where its at with them. The baked gelee eyeshadow is good but wouldn't get the powder formula eyeshadows. I skipped the sunstone bronzer and the other one because they are to light. I did think about getting thr sunstone blush in the coral shade because i like baked gelee formula but im more ito the bronze reddish kinda blushes not peach pink and for 75 for a blush i want to love formula and color.
I have the foundation and rose tint, lovely products but I’m not sure I’ll invest in full collections again. I might look for the lotus powder, thanks for the tip. This bronzer is quite light so it might be too light for you although I’d think of this more as a bronze highlighter. ❤️
I thought the bronzer looked great on you! The Armani i bought and returned-way too brown and shimmery and the beachwalk Betty was not going on at all-so many swipes and no color payoff
I don’t think you’d like this then it’s much more shiny than Armani. I like how it looks on my cheeks but not my forehead. RMS can be a bit patchy,I find it applies better with a very fluffy brush ❤

I was tempted by the Turtle 🐢 Collection earlier this year as I have a tortoise and used to make mini wax turtles. I LOVE Chantecaille shadows as I suit the very suble look. I cannot get away with many of the beautiful looks you create. I picked up the Tinted Moisturiser on an offer at Space NK and l❤it. After this splurging I picked up the powder, a blush and lip gloss on ebay. Having sold for years I know what to look for to avoid fakes etc. Have picked up some Victoria Beckham and Westman Ateilier in the same way. I am generally too tight to pay full price, but saying that I splurged on the Chanel Les Beige bronzer blush 😮 Now am trying not to buy personal make-up as I save up for Advent Calendar season ❤

I notice that the serum is what causes the tackiness even with makeup on. I did not like that feeling and its the reason I did not get it again. But I love the water gel cream. My skin soak it up and it did not have fragrance, which I try to avoid.

I really really love the eyeshadow singles. The one I can't live without is shade Sylvia. It's the pot. I have recently tried the future skin foundation. WOW! It my holy grail. The sunstone bronzer is the finishing touch. Love all. Oh and eye liners. Yes, please!

I use Chantecaille Tinted Moisturizer and Future Skin. Both work for redness and look very natural. I'd love to see a side by side with Lisa's. And I love the way it looks on you. I checked my "old" Skin Tint and it also has SPF 15, so I have no idea what the reformulation is all about. I wear Alabaster in Winter and Vanilla in Summer. But I've always been underwhelmed by their color products. Their eye shadows are a waste of money IMO. I have their bronzer, but never use it. And their blush is OK, but I don't care, at that price. Even their packaging has gone to hell. Nonetheless, they make great foundations. And the lip and blush look great on you. The other products I like from this brand are both the Rose and the Bronze Face Tints. Both are blurring moisturizers. I mix them to get the color I want. More sheer than the Skin Tints, and nice for "no makeup" days. Thanks for the video!💚
Yes the foundation is good, but I really love this tinted moisturiser. I have the Rose Tint, haven’t tried it yet. I’ll film a side by side with LE tomorrow for a shorts video ❤️
@@hanbeauty101 I never watch Shorts. But if it pops up on my KZread or IG feed I'll see it and take a look. The Rose Tint won't give you much color, but it blurs very nicely. I bought the Bronze Tint so I could have the same product with a bit of color. But it is way too dark on me, so I mix the two to get a sheer wash of color. It's good for working at home, he gym, or running errands, and is moisturizing, but not greasy. Lovely in Winter, especially when your skin gets dull looking.

Hi Hannah, I enjoyed watching this video, for my preference this foundation is not suitable for my oily skin ,it would look like I smeared baby oil , all over my face, however I am a fan of the cheek and lip blushes they look refreshing light weight and beautiful. Love Katherine xoxo

You are welcome! I love the Lancôme bronzer, I’d say it’s my current favourite this year. When I want a more glowy bronzer my next favourite is the Armani bronzer. Next would be the YSL in shade 2 and then the RMS ❤

I love CT products but I’ll skip this one. Too much prep, too much shine and then to add powder to calm the look. That seems to defeat the purpose. I don’t know who this product is for, to be honest. Such excessive glow doesn’t look natural. This is just a bit too fussy for me.
