Hi everyone - so today I have a really exciting review of the new Tom Ford Architecture soft matte foundation. Yesterday I tested this side-by-side with the shade and illuminate foundation and today I tested the architecture foundation on its own. I tried multiple ways of applying this with and without primer and with brush and sponge. I had very interesting results and I can’t wait to show you.

I have to say, excellent result with both foundations at the end! Now I’m thinking why is it shade and illuminate foundation looks less radiant or maybe moreblurred and matte then the new architecture one… I think I will probably take two testers and try them out before buying. However I do absolutely love how it looks on you! Beautiful make up❤

Welcome Lara! I’m much the same, I love radiant foundations but I’m starting to enjoy matte much more than I did, it does give a more perfected finish. I can’t decide which I prefer out of these 2! 😂❤️

Except for the price this new foundation sounds great for summer and my oily skin, I like self setting matte foundations with medium coverage

Uh oh I may have to try the architecture one. I’m a medical student so I have to wear a mask and magnifying loupes every day. I’m on a quest to find the most natural foundation that does not transfer all over my mask. It’s been difficult! If I can find a foundation that looks natural and doesn’t transfer, I’d be willing to spend $150. The Chanel ultra le teinte and Giorgio Armani Luminous silk are the best I have found so far, but they still transfer

@@ionescuelectra thanks for your suggestion! Sadly there is no shade close to mine in the double wear. I’ve tried it, I’ve been shade matched, and they are all way to pink or orange on me. That was my grandmothers favorite foundation though, and she had great taste.

I'm going to try half a face with primer and half without. Today I tried half face with hourglass primer and half with the new Tom Ford radiance primer. On the TF side, foundation has settled in my pores and I have the appearance of little dots, and not at all on the hourglass primer. Also on the Tf side, the foundation looks a little patchy and not on the Hourglass side. But I shall be very interested to see how primer vs no primer looks tomorrow

I’d love to hear your results. I’m going to use no primer with Mac this week aswell. I’ll post an update on that video when I try it, which will probably be tomorrow ❤

I’m so interested in this foundation, the price though is daunting. I have tried the Shade and Illuminate and hated it passionately. Would you say this new one is more similar to shade and illuminate? I do however love the Soft matte foundation, it’s my holy grail, and I also love the stick foundation. I find them both to be amazing and long lasting on me. I’m 42 with oily skin.

It does allow a little radiance to come through but it dries down much faster than shade and illuminate. This doesn’t let any oils through all day on me and lasts very well ❤️

@@hanbeauty101 I’m not a fan of Mac foundations, they tend to look orange on me instead of neutral. I’m a Tom Ford girl at heart… no worries, I’ll try to get it in an upcoming sale. I also loved your review on the new ND powder foundation, definitely going to try it too.
