The blade on these under ten ton machines is not there for dozing, it’s for stabilizing otherwise light machine. Dozing is just secondary function because that light chassis doesn’t provide a lot of traction, which is why the blade is so uselessly low also.

Small tip if you want long life for your machine, try avoiding scooping so deep that your pins and bushings get covered with sand.

I see why you need permits for that. So if someone stumbles across it thinks they found a crime scene, the police will know it isn’t.

I for one can’t wait to see what you’ve been up against. I know it’s not easy. I tried mining with my brother for eight years. We ended up quitting and then he passed away. But now that I’m retired I’m looking to get back into it again if I can find someone I can trust.

my aunbt lives on a mine and owns the land. im gonna go and look for gold this year. my grandpa use to always tell me " crumbs come from the loaf". what he meant was smaller gold comes FROM bigger gold. so if u find small gold, go up, not down.

I would like to become a Gold Miner like Andy . I live in TX. 30 miles East of Downtown Houston so there isn't any Gold in the ground . Small amounts in some of Rivers and places so far West your better off just moving to New Mexico with a bunch of Liberals LOL . How do you get started doing this Andy and on the Cheap until I can get familiar with where I'm Mining or Mine hunting ??
