Big Boulders Big Gold

Ойын-сауық

We take a close look at some of the massive unique boulders that are commonly found with huge gold nuggets, this site has some amazing rocks that look like meteors from space or even huge chunks of raw ore right from the vein. Opening this ghost town mine is proving to be a big challenge to complete alone without the help of anyone, I'm struggling to make the progress I was so sure was achievable. Join us on another adventure as we embark to open a placer gold mine and unlock the mysteries that lie in the dark ominous and incredible forests surrounding a ghost town lost to time.

I like it but HOLY SHIT . 99% talking and 1% gold.... It's like you're stringing us along and then hint at something interesting at the end, except in this case there wasn't any gold at the end either! I get clickbait, but If you're gonna say "big boulders big gold" At least show some gold at the end... I don't mind waiting but don't just lie to us and waste 15 minutes talking our ear off and not even hint at a piece of gold!

I recently found your channel on my home page, never been interested or thought about gold mining before. But got hooked! Your videos are really good! I struggled with some older of your videos understanding the passing of time, they seemed to show future content only to be like “but that hole doesn’t exist yet” for example.. really glad this new video is very much like “tomorrow we are going todo the access road” and hopefully your next video will follow on from this point so it’s an evolving story! A video with back and forth timeframes throws viewers off and makes the video uncomfortable to watch mentally, these latest ones are so much better! Longer videos too!! Can’t wait for the next one!

Andy, just a heads up, you can get old style fuel can spouts with rear vents on amazon and retrofit a new can. you just drill a hole in the back and the vent snaps in. saves a lot of hassle with spilled fuel, wonkey nozzles, etc. With the size of your site, depending on how remote it is, it might be worth just finding a large pad tank and having a fuel truck fill it up. No idea how remote you are, but it would be a lot more convenient to have 1500 gal and a long hose, rather than using a truck bed tank with 200 gal. it would save you a run back to the fuel station if you ever need to fill up the excavator, washplant, etc all at the start of the day. And if you're planning on at least 3 years, then it would make sense to just bite the bullet now and keep the equipment full to minimize downtime. You could probably find the tank on the secondhand market pretty cheap too

@@jfarmer9808 you can lock out the tank. just gotta be a little smarter than a $5 masterlock. protecting $2500 of diesel, you shouldn't scoff at spending $500 to lock it up. that lock setup will be with the tank for years so it's a good investment.

YES! PUmped to see this road being built. Also, playing it safe with the tree falling was a good call. I watch youtube clips of fails every day enough to anything goes when you are falling trees an they could end you so great judgment there. I saw a clip of a guy that falls a tree between two houses perfectly and when the tree hits the ground one branch bounces back up over 30 plus feet and smokes the guy up in the tree right in the head. Like, straight movie-type stuff. The poisonous bug video made me belly laugh. you got me on that one. I didn't expect it. Over all man such a pleasure to watch the journey. One thing your episodes do that no other gold show does is it show's how much work this all takes and how many little things are going on that anyone who doesn't do this for a living would just never know. Don't change a thing Andy I will be watching every video man!
