    Dan, I just got one of these bikes. So far, it's absolutely the worst bike I have ever seen. The welds are crap. You mentioned TIG welding, but mine looks like it was MIG welded based on the splatter I'm seeing. Does yours have good welds, or are they like mine? kzread.info/dash/bejne/nmhms9N8nMrWito.html

    What's Poppin I'm from Texas I got the same bike same color frame is a 52 I change the 42t chain ring to a 52t chain ring BMX pedals no strap I'm going to change the seat as well I want to change out the drop bars to a bullhorn other than that it's a beast I prefer the freewheel as well oh and swapped out the factory tires for some 700×42c gumwall's happy trails

    Just ordered in the matte black with all of the upgrades you mentioned: comfy seat, riser bars, platform pedals, bottle rack. Seems like it'll be great for both commutes around the city and light trails. Thanks for the tips!

    As far as gear ratio goes, I prefer on the higher end, would it be simple enough to change the 16t cog to a smaller one?

    I rode 175 mm cranks on Major Taylor velodrome for years. Depends on the track.

    3M sells a rubber disc that you attach to a drill motor, looks like a large 3/4" eraser, will strip that old adhesive tape right off.

    They’re chain tensioners. I did them up. Not super duper tight tho

    Great video thank you. The weak fucks at the bike shop tried 3 times to tighten my cog on my fixed gear and each time it was loosening when I would skid. I tried a rotafix and turns out there was a lot of room left to tighten.

    Don't forget to tighten the Lockring! My cog was slipping while skidding due to the weakly tightened lockring

    It’s wild y’all could fail inspection for pedals not having rubber tidbits on em In California 80’s VW diesel’s don’t even have to pass a smog test, most cars only have to pass that every other year and test can be done at a gas station

    I am no expert, but love and respect bicycles/bicyclists. I have to ask, why did you flip the rear tire? Is there a specific reason for that? I'm looking forward to ordering a Core Line

    @@dcrijo ah well it’s a “flip flop hub” which means on one side it’s a fixed cog and the other has a freewheel. During my review I wanted to test the bicycle by using both sides
