    Why check the flop with the wheel in the AAQ3 hand? Is it because your perceived range doesn’t have too many A3/36 and by betting you’re exposing your hand too much?

    You would squeeze ATs and 88 in that first hand against a 7BB open???

    For the multi-way pot at 4:55, you said you ran it 3-way. wasn't it 4-way? That still might be a profitable pot bet, but I'm curious if it changes from 3-way to 4-way.

    20:07 incoming TWO MINUTE projection with the most insanely optimistic thoughts anyone could ever have about their equity in the hand at this point, the play they’ve made, and the ultimate result. Excuse yourself for bad play until your run-good ends, or figure it out before you’re broke brother. This can’t last, but I hope I’m wrong.

    Its hard to be a winning plo player. The variants are just ridiculous. The only winning strategy ive seen is tight aggressive. And hit and run. If you stay too long you always give it back.

    For someone playing these stakes you should know you do not have two pair on that 777 board. You have trips 7 with AQ high.

  • @user-wd5xv7im7v
    @user-wd5xv7im7v2 ай бұрын

    Cause if you want to keep the two pair every other opponent will say okey but I’m gunna play the trios on the board which beats two pair in ever game.

    Hey man, cool to see you trying to leverage shorts to build momentum with your channel. I think it would really benefit you to check out Wolfgang’s shorts. He used some basic techniques that a lot of content creators implement across all types of content that I think you could really benefit from. And his views are far better than anyone else in the poker vlogging sphere. Ir seems like his content also draws in a lot of non-poker players. A few of the things that I think he does well: 1. Use a catchy opening instead of your channel name. It could be as simple as, “winning almost $2,000 in ONE HAND”. From what I’ve seen, a lot of successful short form content is as simple as opening with a hook and then delivering. 2. Keep people engaged in the few seconds between the hook and the payoff. Again, look out how Wolfgang does this. He uses sound effects and simple graphics to emphasize actions. 3. I think your shorts would benefit from fine tuning the choice of narration and the music selection/volume. Basically, think about how this content varies from your long form content, and what viewers are looking for. This short form really caters more to the gambling crowd than the poker community. Make it punchy, and make it about the action.

    Hey man, I really appreciate your content. I like how you’re actively trying to improve your game and mixing in some of your study methods as you go. Not many plo vloggers are out there making content, I could totally see you coming up and dominating this niche. I hope you keep uploading :)

    Hand 1: If anyone will fold here, the re-raise is a stand out. Depending on stack sizes, the reraise will also simplify life. The last thing you want is to see a flop with a lot of backdoors but not enough to call a bet. By reraising you greatly reduce the likelihood that you will be bet off your equity. I like your play, but it is a bumpy ride. Now that the reveal has happened, it is clear you did well. You had these clowns crushed. The two hands that did get revealed were total trash.

  • @ligafftheindifferent3495

    Does that solver account for human ranges? I doubt it. I imagine it also shows calling as only a tiny overall EV error. So if the UTG is uber tight and never raises, fold, but otherwise I'd lean towards calling. I don't like making life easy for AAxy hands by giving them an automatic 4-bet to get a low SPR In games where humans call too loosely, I think letting them in by failing to 3-be cannot be so wrong.

    I just spent 3 days at TCH in Spring. The Omaha action was mostly very loose and always wild. The last day was wildest. I was in a 1-3 where most folks were doing a button straddle for 6 (YUCK...Straddles should only be UTG, but that is different topic). Most pots were raised to 30 and there was usually 4-8 players seeing the flop. Most of the stacks were over 1K and it seemed like every other hand was 2 or 3 players getting all in. I won one hand and quintupled from 300 to 1500. I just don't see that in Vegas 1-2 games at the Wynn.

    Trying not to be results oriented, the quad 4s hand - best decision pre flop really... Had you 4 bet it, GTO opponents are only calling you with better/higher equity hands, and your crazy calling station Texans aren't folding their middling rundowns and you're gonna hate a lot of boards that don't flop you a set at least, and even maybe some that do! Of course, raising and hitting quads in a 4B pot is always the dream, right? But again, i think it's important to look at it objectively and not be results oriented bcuz how many times do you even flop quads, let alone when you're 3 or especially even 4 betting 😂

    On the bomb pot where you turned the straight on bottom and flush draw on top, why not think about getting when it checks to you to fold out equity like better flush draws on top and possibly free roll a lot of people with the same straight?
