Got a european female doberman and she is 19 weeks now. Crazy energy...literally you have to exercise them to calm them down. I love it though because I like doing stuff. That's what I wanted. She's extremely well tempered and great with kids and dogs. No issues at all there. Couldn't ask for a better temper. She is smart and learns quick, however she is stubborn, that is for dang sure. I'm sure some of it is the puppy still, but dang. She loves playing and has a high toy drive. Very good dog overall. Can't wait to see how big she gets her mom was 80lbs and her dad was 110lb.

My aussie loves exercise but he is fine with just a short walk and some fetch. He loves to snuggle with all family members and play with his toys. Most aussies are very energetic and need a lot of exercise but luckily ours is a sweetheart and matches our lifestyle well.

Hi. I have 2 Dobermans, a male and a female. your video is all about generalities of this breed and I thank you thank you for it, however. it all depends on the relationship you have with your animals. LOVE these dogs they are definitely the best ever !!

He’s 9 yrs old with arthritis & MAJOR separation anxiety & I’ve been trying to find a supplement to help calm him down and I heard about hemp oil and this video just helped me figure it out. I’ve had both male and female Dobermans. I own a female now, and I feel she’s bonded more to the family as a whole than my male did. My male only ever liked me, he tolerated my husband. My female now spends time with everyone in the family. She is more stoic, moody, more in tune with my emotions. I love them both, my favorite dog breed. 🖤

Females are smarter than the males. I knew it. Love them both. But the females will not play around. I feel more protected with the females. Had them both

So weird that people are scared of them. I have NEVER met a mean one ot one that I did not COMPLETELY fall in love with. I have a presa. He clears blocks People are terrified of him. Hes a great dog but very aloof I wish he had more of the clingyness of a dobe

When I give myself olive oil, for instance, I use one of those little tiny ceramic prep bowls, and I can lick out the whole bowl without loss. I also use that for taking a dose of Kefir for probiotic. That might work well for dogs, too. Small prep bowl or a large serving spoon.

Female dobermans don't get along at sometime rather older or youngster is more common in my experience & research. Unfortunately, my oldest Female is dominant. Her behavior was getting bad to the point of going after children & she LOVED kid's. Long story short Unfortunately, she went to a friend's daughter whom had been raised around them & now has a mastiff rescue. So my oldest girl is now in the hands of a trainer & has bonded with her husband. My current female is a great Dobie. I've had both sex dog's & find the male's to b more layed back/socially, but my female's have been the protective ones. Experience having the opposite sex is best with having 2 dog's. Hesitant 2 have 2 female doberman unless I cam have professional dobie/guard trainer involved with training. Guard breeds training is different from a golden retriever. My dog trainer doesn't do aggressive behavior. Now I am able to take my girl to a different trainer whom trained police k9 & has owned dobermans ect. We are doing great!

Had a male (Jax), then we wanted him to have a companion (wife), so we got Jacky. Jax got stollen, he was almost 2, its been 3 months since he’s been gone. Jaky would be needing a companion now, so we got another female (Yatti), she is 8 weeks old, smartest dobbie weve had yet, she it at 8 commands. In other words we found out females ARE SMARTER and are more protective of their home, in our experience with this wonderful breed.

I train at Petsmart and my first focus is on my students and dogs. It probably depends on the trainer who is training.
