honestly I play modded DayZ cause nothing like that exist so I put up with the rubber banding, 60 fps and desync but I rather play squad or buy arma reforger then coming back to this. Its crazy how awful this company is in building a stable engine

Love hopping into the editor and setting up battles in differnt scenarios and terrains and being able to join the fight at will. Arma 3 is my grown-up version of pretending my action figure army guys are fighting eachother.

great video. restarting Arma after 3 years away. Always felt Antistasi was too painful as a solo player, but the tip about roadblokcs really helps. Putting loot boxes in trucks makes life so much easier when grabbing gear. PLaying Ultimate version and loving it. I'm looking for a vid on explaining how to use all the items in the garage properly next. e.g. I randomly added a captured fuel truck to the garage. Now all my spawned vehicles come with full fuel!

The complexity of arma 3 is its strongest point and its weakest at the same time. Because of it though you rarely (I never myself) encounter annoying people who never communicate, continue to refuse tries at improving their game, yell obscenities at each other and match their IQ to room temperature. This game is highly recommended if you: want to stay unemployed, want your spouse to divorce you, have no care for the wellbeing of your kids, want to spend money of expensive computer peripherals, want to prevent early onset dementia.

I agree with the first half of this comment. That’s why I created the YLS Gaming discord community. We help people learn the complexities of the game and as a result we have 1500 members in a non toxic community. To address the second half of the comment. I am self employed which requires more time and effort than your average 9-5 hourly job. Not to mention hours of managing and editing footage for this KZread channel. My spouse fully supports my hobbies including gaming, I have an extreme care for the wellbeing of my daughter and make sure to be a good father to her every single day, and where the game is over 10 years old, somewhat outdated computer hardware will run this game without much trouble as long as you’re not maxing out any graphics. As for the dementia portion, I can’t relate to yet because I’m still 35 years young haha. Soon I’m sure

I am standard Atlantic time, and I try my best to attend the Friday and Saturday night events every week. Also keep an eye on the announcements page, if the admin team is going to play on the server, we often ping everyone in announcements to fill up the server. We usually try to do that at least one evening during the week

I mostly play this solo. The Eden Editor is simple to use and making your own missions is a blast. The options are nearly endless. When Arma3 is on sale, it's a steal.

Just use linear switches for your keyboard or silent tactile. Gateron milky pro yellow or akko cream blue v3 are good imo (you need a custom keyboard for that). Just don't go back to a rubberdome keyboard... Plenty of silent mechanical options available

Having a hard time understanding the attraction of playing antistasi solo. Knowing that 50 or so human players sometimes takes months to finish it, and genuinely have trouble doing it, I can't imagine it being fun with having to do the whole map with only 9 AI, specially with how aggressive the AI get. Unless there's a feature that enables multiple AI that fight with you in their own units.

Instead of a new keyboard you could try messing with your eq settings. For steelseries mic's its software has really great noise reduction which completely remove the keyboard sound
