CLEARLY, this is NOT a "factual" question, but a "political" one!! ..and the answer is going to vary according to YOUR VIEW of things. I prefer to think of it as--YES--a separate country, as it has it's own constitution and government, and in parallel to countries which USED to be part of the USSR, it has its own history and people, as the ROC (though--admittedly--with some overlap with mainland China (the PROC).

The difference is in UK had an experienced judge who focused on evidence. In US was untrained jurors who were swayed by social media and personalities.
Is there no corroborating sightings from other parties? No sea vessels or other light aircraft? If not it feels to me like some kind of super-rare atmospheric phenomenon, only visible from their particular position, something like a weird sun dog or Fata Morgana. The guys certainly seems genuine and not the sort to use it as a springboard to jump on the UFO circuit - which can be quite lucrative.
Yes. It doesn't make too much sense that such "Huge" objects would only be noticed by them, in that whole area, even less if they were clearly visible for several minutes. You'd expect thousands of reports, as it happened in Phoenix back in '97.
E and y 14 year old son were sitting out in the sun June 2023 in my friend s garden ,was around 4pm my mate said what’s that !
