    but with words like school and hospital we can see things like "go to school","go to hospital", sometimes there's an article before so when to use and when not to use an article before these words

    -"Grammar is defined as the structure of a language," the professor shouted. -"We may only estimate whether it is derived from this structure itself or something else." "Unfortunately, no one knows why he was so prejudiced against gipsy." Thank you, Alex! Take care

    Unfortunately this discussion is a bit worthless without mentioning the fact that the word is generally used only in the most informal of speech and is heavily deprecated in every other situation

    Begin is the first "starting point" of an ongoing process. You begin meetings, classes, lectures, journeys, holidays, vacations. Start is for when you require not only to begin the process but want it to continue until such time as it is stopped. Any machine, engine, war, conflict, argument and so forth. Everything that is began, always has a predetermined, pre arranged or previously agreed end time. Machines and wars etc will continue until there is an external something that stops it. Or an engine runs out of fuel, but this has no predetermined scheduled time.

    First time i came across you channel and i subscribed straight up ❤ Mr Alex why are they not responding for visiting visa application people that submitted since last year December never get response from Canada embassy

  • @engvidAlex
    @engvidAlex3 күн бұрын

    Thanks for subbing, Max. I don’t know why they’re not responding, as I don’t work for the Canadian government. :) With that in mind, I have a friend who has been waiting for a response from the Canadian Visa office since November, so you’re not alone. I can only imagine the frustration of the wait. I hope you get a response soon.

    I grew up speaking English and I'm always so impressed when a non native English speaking person, well, speaks English to me. I don't care if your accent is good or if I have trouble understanding every word you're trying to say, I still appreciate it and am impressed with your effort and accomplishment. I know some Americans are jerks about it, but I'm impressed as hell.

    As we know, which word or phrases can modify noun/pronoun that is an adjective. In the example of 4, you said that 'riding' is a gerund because of object complement but there also we can say 'riding' is a present participle. Could you explain the mystery? please sir
