My Top 5 Tips for Learning English More Effectively

“How do I learn English?” is a common and important question I hear from my students. The real question they are asking is “How do you learn another language?” In this video, I give you my top 5 tips for learning English (or any new language). The secret to second language acquisition is regular immersion and mass input. But what does that mean? Can you learn English by watching movies and TV shows? Yes! That is a very important part of it, but it’s only one factor. In order to truly immerse yourself in a language, you need to make sure you are activating your receptive and productive skills - that means listening, reading, speaking, and writing. How many of the methods mentioned in the video do you use to study English? Let me know in the comments. Good luck with your studies. You can do it! www.engvid.com/my-top-5-tips-...

May I give my Tip?. Firstly there's no silver bullet if you are learning another language. Forget about "miracles" (Most of them "dishonest miracles") and just keep on listening.. That will be my Tip. Simple and easy. Keep on listening.. As much as you can. Great Video and Greetings from Spain 👍

Great as always Alex! I guess that when we are considering a "virtual speaker" to mimic his/her English, it might help if we pick one about our age and maybe with similar interests in life, so we will sound more natural and authentic probably.
