PHRASAL VERBS that mean the same thing!
Can you use more than one phrasal verb to say the same thing? Absolutely! In this important advanced vocabulary lesson, we’ll look at 5 phrasal verbs and their synonyms. For instance, did you know that you can “put off” OR “push back” a meeting? You can also “cut down” or “cut back” on something - they mean the same thing. This lesson also includes synonyms for “stop by,” “mess up,” and a slang equivalent for “turn up,” as in “turn up the volume.”

It has both uses in Canada. You can pass by places as you’re driving, but it’s also perfectly common to say “I’ll pass by your place after work to give you the book,” or something like that.
Thank you so much prof Alex for explaining these phrasal verbs which are indeed very helpful.
My favorite Teacher ❤

Thank you! 😃 I’m glad I could help.
Your lessons have really helped me cut down on my language barriers, making English much more accessible and enjoyable for me. Every time I stop by your channel, I find something new and exciting that enhances my learning journey. Even when I mess up with some tricky aspects of the language, your teachings provide the clarity and guidance I need to get back on track. Your recent series on phrasal verbs has been particularly enlightening. It's pushed back the limits of what I thought I could achieve with my English skills. Your approach to teaching makes every lesson engaging and easy to understand. And finally, I must say that the way you turn up complex language concepts into simple, digestible lessons is truly remarkable. Your passion for teaching shines through in every video, and it's incredibly motivating. Thank you once again for all your hard work and dedication. You're making a significant difference in my language learning journey, and I'm sure many others feel the same.
Hi, Alex. I have known about your channel recently. And I am excited, because your teaching is so simple and useful. I learned a lot about phrasal verbs, but I hadn't known before that these words have other interesting meanings and synonyms. So cool lesson!
