How do cars work? It's a simple question, without a simple answer. That's what this channel is for! You could search the web endlessly for consumable information, or you can watch my simple to understand videos. I'm a graduated mechanical engineer with a passion for cars, and my goal is to help other people passionate about cars learn how they work. Hope you find my videos enjoyable; feel free to ask questions!
New videos every Wednesday.

I really don't believe that the environmentalist are all that concerned about the pollution of cars. I think that's just a facade for what they really think the problem is and that's people.
No fn way broooo looked like Justin Bieber gut damn
Sounds dope honestly. It would be cool if the engine sound and torque curve was customizable!
Every heard of this thing called the Hindenburg?
thought it was just supposed to help the leg?
If you driving a truck 😂
Unfortunately, much of what Musk and Tesla says are obvious misrepresentations. They run their motors at higher power levels not because they are designed for higher power levels but they have temperature sensors so they can theotrle back when ivee heating begins. They do the same with their DC fast charging port and charging stations, the conductors are underspecced and actually designed for much lower charge rates (note surprising given how early they were released) but Tesla claims that sensors allowing them to throttle back as the conductors overheat allows them to claim the higher charge rates. The range are of course guesstimates and they keep their battery managment systems collected data from public eyes. The so called full self drive is still very much just level 2 semi-autonomous self drive. Elon Musk is all about promotion and not about any truthful statements. However, we can credit him for being disruptive enough to get the industry moving.
And just because you have the money to buy a BMW, doesn't mean you have the money for the weekly maintenance😅
Ah. Another design where the inventor was probably murdered and a company presents it 20 years later.
And how long would you drive this until the fact that everythng is fake seeps in.
11:16 and they’re all currently in government
First revision of the engine in BMW is 0 at the end, isnt it? means 1 at the end is TU engine
Start stopnis one of yhe dumbest inventions ever to save an insignificant amount of fuel
Guys guys how about LPG?
I double clutch anyway, not cause anyone told me so, but I just looked at how a transmission is designed and figured that's just how you do it. Wears less on the syncros
I hit a pole hole in my Tesla 12/3/23. There are only 2 shops in town that work on Teslas and they told me the soonest they could do anything with my car was July 2024… luckily there was an opening and I was able to get my car towed there 3/4/24. Last week I found out there’s battery damage and my car is being totaled. The market value has dropped $10k since I hit that pothole.
CAD$100k with tax for something that will be worth $20k in 3 years. Insane how expensive EV's are, and worthless after 5 years. As much as I like this car, as soon as I looked up the price, hard pass. I will save for a CT5V Blackwing, same price for a used model.
learned to drive trucks in school and we had both ZF (syncro) and eaton fuller (non syncro) . floating the gears is even better
Never seen an EV review where the the driver is smiling so much. Great review, love the car.
They say we will have plenty of ethanol but that we are facing famine. I thought that was the plan all along.
If charge to over 85% you should charge the last 15% as slow as possible
Anyone who is crying to the FAA for help clearly knows nothing of aviation.
Gram gram was right!
What about the V4? In this config? (Or half v8)
Ah yes. With one bullet, that thing is toasted 😂
So basically just charge the car when you need to use it, drive it as usual and stop stressing about it because you will probably have a new one many years before the battery fails.
Guaranteed he added the ai and advanced mathematical models just for youtube algorithm
Hey Roman, im just wondering if Alina is with you?
I save money on gas by buying a new wife.
I remember when that "clutch kick" feature was implemented on Porsche's pdk units. I'm glad to see Hyundai is keeping it alive
Really appreciate the in depth reasons for best practice battery care. In my case the power rates are lower off peak, but I will still want to keep the car plugged in so the battery cooling can take place in hot weather.
Can i use 5W40 fully synthetic instead of 5/30 on a Vw mk6 1.6 tdi?
Because pure hydrogen burns at too high of a temperature.
The fact they named is LUCID, which means HALF ASLEEP underscores the management ineptness. What kind of idiots would invest in this political masturbation
I'll take a Jeep or Ford inline-6 instead please.....
Oil industry: 🔫😎 look like someone are gonna get clapped
that foot role out is for manuals.
Its like putting urine in your gas tank. We used to feed the world before Satan took over.
We exported the most corn ever in 2020, second most in 2021 plus a brand new healthier and triple concentrated feed called distillers grains.
I have a question about level 1 vs level 2 charging under this recommendation. If I follow this advice and charge frequently to 80% wouldn't it be better to use a level 1 charger instead of a level 2? My logic is that the parked electrons wouldn't be moving as fast to relocate and be more efficient at finding a parking space meaning less heat, expansion and thus degradation. Thanks for a great video :)
why not use ammonia
And no one at the dealership will know how to fix it.
And no one at the dealership will know how to fix it when it breaks
"N Grin Boost" should be renamed to "N Overboost System"... NOS
Diesel Electric Prius ??
I consider AMSOIL the best,so far. They received there API certification in the 70s. That's 50 years in the business. And they have improved over those years. As far as old engines, 70s and early years. Zinc content can be an issue. I've got 3 vehicles pushing over 250k. And an old 70s Chevy.
I feel like he just throws in occasional fancy words to sound smart which is annoying
But burning large amount of hydrogen provided you can sustainably extract hydrogen which is the most abundant element in the universe is actually good for the environment you releasing oxygen in the air so future naturally aspirated hydrogen screaming at the top of its lungs is actually doing good for the ozone
Sorry. I was born in the 60's and kids born after 1996 are nowhere near as smart as we were at their age.
the best way to save fuel is to drive less and at lower speeds in a smaller car!
I still have lead tooth amalgams. Still alive.
