Thanks for popping back by for a rewatch! This was a really fun project to work on that ended up going a few different directions than I thought it would. I imagine at this point the curse of Tecumseh has probably run out of steam (it's over 200 years old now!) but always better to play it safe!

Fixed stars don't respond to moon phase like the lunar mansions do so I wouldn't really worry about it. If you really wanted to incorporate it, though, it would be the time to use Aldebaran as a way to control anger and come across less aggressive or intimidating to others.

Agrippa talks about waxing moon applaing in conjunction to a fixed star. Maybe it's some misunderstanding of the Portuguese translation of his book. Anyway, thank you very much for your answer!

A lot of scholarly articles, mostly. The side effect of doing a big research thing on the fixed stars is Academia.edu still sends me notifications about new publications in that area and I read them if they seem interesting. The biggest treasure trove was Astral Magic in Babylon by Erica Reiner.

@@MedievalAstrologyGuide I read Brady's Book of Fixed Stars, which I enjoyed. However, it seems there's a debate/controversy b/w Fixed Star calculation? And the way Brady does it is an attempt to do it the way Ptolemy does it, but it's more commonly done differently, if I'm remembering correctly? All I know is it was annoying and confusing because I didn't have enough context to know what I don't know. She doesn't explain it much/well in the book.

Interesting to know about Arcturus. My Ascendant is within three degrees of Arcturus. I work in mental health and have always been very sporty. I have yoga and personal training certs but aren't actively using them. I'm not sure how to use the election, though, hahaha. My health is already strong. 🤔

Once the see that you are traveling with your well mannered four footed friends, that we do so enjoy seeing in your videos, deposits should be returned in full and there should always be salmon on the menu. If it’s any consolation when I did manage hotels ( and replace expensive carpet) it was usually in the elevator, not the room but some guests would get intoxicated and well ( pee pee ) their pants or worse in the elevator because well i guess hard to hold when drunk, and we would see it on the security camera. We would have to put « dog stay over » charges on their folio, it was the only way. So when they tried to complain we would ask they wanted to see the video we had of them in the elevator the previous night .

Great points. I have several example charts of clients with Mars/Sun combust in Gemini, Taurus and other non-fire signs where Mars seems to be lame, without its normal power. Following a traditional combust narrative. And an example of a very Marsy person who has Mars combust the sun in Leo (2 degree orb) and its a whole different thing. Mars is also square the moon and Ceres in this person's chart. And the Sun/Mars conjunction is in the 8th house (APC), end of the 7th within 2 degrees of the 8th acc to Regiomontanus. However, the notion of combust working differently when there is reception can make sense. Perhaps when there is triplicity (Morin, Schoener version in this case).

Produce your image at the exact start time of the election. I'm not sure about how long you have to do the ritual, but I think the more important part is making sure you start at the elected time.
