4,5,6 it is boring the development
It would last one and a half the most better get insurance
I think one plus has the best foldable here in the West.
I will be leaving the foldable Samsung phones , I'm good they have been a disappointment at least to me and now a price increase for a square same size foldable with the same cameras nah I'm good. I've been a fan since the f2 , might switch to Google they look more promising
Happy father's day
There is absolutely no way the screen is lasting 7yrs!
Nothing but 6 years of disappointment because they are lazy...
If Samsung had any decency they would have put it right on the first place...
One might day that it was Royola who pioneeed the folding phone technology (I think the FlexPai came out before the Z Fold)🙂 Happy Father's Day Adam
If Samsung doesn't give the hardware 100 % this time , I may have to consider importing the Vivo fold 3 pro , Honor Magic V2 rsr Porsche and or Xiaomi or Pixel FOLD 2 . It would be mindblowing because Samsung has my favorite software and ecosystem in android w my s23 ultra
FRONT S PEN, NO CREASE, WIDER+BIGGER SCREEN, BEST CAMERA - easy.
Samsung need to sack the managers..
Nothing but a total piss take...
6 years of getting it wrong....
It's a complete joke it's far to narrow and far to small...
Ai crapware
Not wide enough and too small, a complete wasted time and money... Samsung are taking the piss...
Happy Father's day
Thank you!
Hot take: instead of making incremental changes every year, phone manufacturers should start staggering their hardware updates every other year and provide a more significant refresh. This way, they can still put out something new each year, just not the entire lineup.
Thanks tech HAPPY FATHER'S DAY
Thank you too
😊 Happy Father's Day!
Thank you!
So in other words, the same old 6 and 7 but cost more money?? I will stick with my S23 Ultra.
Same phone again, double the price? A 1TB 5 is currently on sale here in Australia for $1650 down from $2800. 6 will be $3000 lol, no fkn chance it's worth double. Buying a 5 today 100%, time to upgrade from. My s22 ultra.
Happy Father's Day!!! I was hoping for ultra cameras and bigger batteries
Guess we have to see if the “Ultra” comes to fruition. And thank you!
It needs a bigger battery
I agree
As a z fold 5 owner I was waiting for the z fold 6 but Iv upgraded to the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro and couldn't be happier. Iv gotten a better fold and saved a ton of money too
What are you talking about lol, the vivo can't do half of what the fold 5 can do lol. Can't even go full screen in most apps let alone multi task. Can't even use an s pen and the screen is terrible! only 1 advantage, that's a wider cover display. Even then it's poor usability compared to Samsung. that phone uses exactly like a $50 fake Chinese Android that you can buy. You have absolutely no clue what you're on about 😂.
@@colmastro4373 continue to be a Samsung sheep. The screen on the Vivo is way better and iv held them side by side. Charging speeds are way faster. Better hinge, wider outer display. Don't care about the s pen support as I have a s24 ultra. Way better speakers too. Let's not even talk about the ridiculous crease that looks terrible compared to every competitor 😂. The Vivo destroys the fold in battery life too it's not even close! Instead of talking out of your arse I suggest you try something different before you bash it.
how's the software experience? I don't feel like shelling out extra $ to upgrade to zf6 since there's hardly any significant change from the zf5. I am open to other brand's foldables but I'm a bit on the fence due to how compatible their softwares are for a north american user.
@@johngardner869agreed 110%😮 I am so done with Samsung they're basically garbage like Apple
As with the Z Flip 5, it depends on what Samsung offers for trade-ins.
Is it worth trading my S24 ultra to Fold 6 ? hmmmm
No
No! Don't do it!! Your S24 Ultra, is a powerful phone with much better cameras and a S Pen.
For what? A heavier, most expensive phone with worse battery and mediocre camera?
So expensive still! Hell no
They will lower the price when a Fold FE comes out
I'm hearing no Spen support on the 6 also
Probably true
@TechOdyssey I mean I don't use my S pen alot but non the less I hope not .I do like the square edges as it will remind me of my passport
The screens will get scratched to heck without a glass layer of protection. 3:14
At this point it is on my “Do not buy.” list
Do you currently own a foldable?
If your willing to pay 1800, will 1900 really stop you buying
No. Even though I have the fold 5 and it's plenty good, I'll likely get the minimally innovated fold 6 mainly so that I always get the very best trade in every year. Is it worth it? Nope
I don’t really care if it’s $1799 or $1899, but going up $100 they need to upgrade a few things.
Yes plus having the same camera will to Samsung is went down the hole. I will go with OnePlus devices😮
@TechOdyssey $1800 through Samsung finance. 12 months later, the balance is down to $800. The new phone costs $1800. Trade in value of $1000. Pay the balance off and start over with a new phone and a new balance of $800. Repeat every year. Not ideal.for everyone, but it works.
@@Hashpipe36 I wouldn't use Samsung Finance. They're giving you the same camera it's still not a wide enough screen I don't want the thing unless they give it to me for super super cheap. Like $500 then I'll buy it.😮
I can wait. Zfold 7 or 8 will be really good. Just imagine spen slot, wider screen , stronger build, battery and camera
7 will probably be the upgrade we’ve been waiting for
That's what I'm waiting for. Still rocking my s 21 ultra not sure if I Wana wait for next year's fold or go ahead and get the 24 ultra 🤦
Folding phones are going to Fail at the Fold points. 0:48 historical prediction. 1:06 🎉
Nah. They’re pretty reliable at this point
I just ordered the 5!! Should I have waited? 0:51
Did you get a really good price?
You definitely should've waited unless you got it for under $1000.
Probably unless you got a really good deal
@@TechOdyssey I mean I’m with Verizon so I’m paying it off for the next 2 years 😭 I was due for an upgrade

I love it. My favorite. I go back all the time. Fantastic 🐱💞
got one after my poco f3 died after 3 years of intensive use... I hope I will not use this one as much. 120hz plus big screen is f... addictive. I'm out of that crap
I'm pretty sure Apple is just spinning up their generative AI models and have just recently discovered they'll need 8 GB RAM to run 'em. Remember that iPhone development begins about two years prior to release, and the phones are designed to run the OS they'll have at release - not the OS that's somewhere down the road after release. For Apple, the whole generative AI on-device thing has only appeared quite recently, long after older phone designs were set in stone.
I doubt that the iPhone 16 will have the A17 Pro - A17 Pro is built on TSMC's N3B node which Apple is _desperately_ trying to retire. iPhone 16 will probably use an A18 built on TSMC's N3E node.
Why can't somebody make an Android update to 11 or such. Version 8 is getting too dated for many apps
Truth in your reviews is the best. I wanted for seamless zoom feature to upgrade from the X1III I have to X1IV , which apparently you say has a thermal problem, and I won't do it.
Unlocked Pixel on Verizon and no update.
Ok, so let's see
It's June 16, I have an unlocked Pixel on T-Mobile and... no update.
The question is: how many users will actually use AppleAI? Especially, after the initial hype fades out. Their introduction of the AI features on the flagship seems to be a cautious move, since a) it will allow to test the feature on the enthusiasts and the early adopters and b) consider if the new low-level devices will actually need it. Personally, if an AI is not pushed down my throat that's not a big deal. Yet I am not impressed by what it offers.
What sucks the most about the lack of updates (I assume) is you can't just root and install your own OS without losing the proprietary Motorola stylus features, which would defeat the entire purpose of a stylus-defined phone...
