  Why has she quit singing? She clearly has a small vocal range and can't belt but she is singing here well enough and most people her age are way worse than that by now.

  Julie Andrews may not have her singing voice now, but the public will always be able to listen to her because of the soundtracks that she produced. There are all lot of singers that should have stopped singing a long time ago.

  In the outdoor scenes you can see the thick, terrible Los Angeles smog of the 1960s, before car exhaust regulations really made a difference. That certainly was different from the actual 1920s.

  I love Dame Julie my favourite films are Sound of Music and Mary Poppins. But I agree with her. My late grandparents were always pushing the benefits of reading onto my brother and I but sadly I am the only one to have continued reading for pleasure

  I was watching the movie over a month ago. I thought I never be underwhelmed by a Julie Andrews movie. The songs and humor were not enough to save this. The plot dragged on in parts and the white slave subplot was too dated and stereotypical for my taste.

  I'm seeing this in 2020... Isolation is freaky...but the only person that has helped me get through this JULIE ANDREWS. I've been scouting out every thing I can find on her...movies..special...interviews...and old recording on KZread! Isolation is bearable when you have JULIE also reading to you on her new podcast! Thank you Julie!

  @@Evejuk I have her second memior...and I'm reading now for the 3rd time. I haven't been able to purchase her first one due to limited finances...because I'm not working..lost my job in Feb. Every thing I can find on Julie has kept me sane! #julie4ever
