Airgun Sniper-Elite

Airgun Sniper-Elite

This video channel is dedicated to air rifle and pistol shooting and airgun technical subjects. These guns include brands from: Webley - Air Arms - Brocock - Hatsan - Kral - Daystate - SMK - Sharps - Crossman - ASI - Falcon - Ripley - BSA, Gamo, Retay etc. I also include tuning and Regulator subjects pellet and accessories.
I am not sponsored by any shooting sports, pellet, or gun manufacturers, and provide honest opinions on all the guns and accessories that I feature in the videos. Feel free to give feed-back and I endeavour to bring a variety of shooting and airgun related topics for those that are interested in our sport World Wide.
I started shooting air rifles and pistols around 1974, as a teenager, then went onto shooting many varieties of firearms from all over the World between 1983 and 1997 when I served as a UK Para and Special Forces soldier. I got back into airgun shooting again around 2006, when introducing my son to the sport. We now shoot at Tinsley Park Shooting Club.

Yes, it zooms in 5x on screen, but does not show in playback. I have contacted Cigman to see if this is the case, or if the one I has a fault. Like most of these binocular and night vision devices, not everything shows in video playback. I will update, when I know, as this product has only just come out.

Good shooting, love the Airwolf, and the 8's are an excellent pellet, I can see why your confident to take a bunny at 60yrds, personally it's would be 40 me, I ain't that confident or good a shot.. On a different note, the aftermarket mag you recommended for the Reximex Pretensis works superb, and the single shot loader.. Awesome..

Great video Mark. I had seen someone else's video doing a test comparing the 3X12 and the 5X20 and they switched the 850 nm and 940nm around with very good results on the 3X12 but they did not give results of the 5X20 would do with the 940nm would be good if you could try that as you have both.

Very good, best side by side comparison of these two scopes I have seen. I have been reliably informed that it's down to the pixel rate that the 5-20 has the sharper image, which I think stands out in your review, well done for putting the time in.

Excellent vid, and very impressive shooting, 50mtrs is the limit for me, as long as it groups decent at that, that's good to go for me, personally I wouldn't hunt anything over 40 ish mtrs, but then again, I ain't really that good a shot to attempt anything further.. Bought some biz mags for pretensis, as Sunday's escapade to the range proved them the best, in both the magazines it came with, and the aftermarket one you recommended , unfortunately when it came to the HFT corse, the trigger had adjusted itself and became real stiff, and effected my shooting, didn't have an Allen key to fit adjusting screw, subsequently, the Mrs hammered me with her R10... BUGGER..

Yes , exactly , so many people say my rifle shoots under 5p ,( if we ignore that one, two three lol ) - it’s only a flyer if its inches away or off the target altogether ! I could say my hw100 shoots moa at 50 yards - its done it maybe twice in a hundred attempts ! So its NOT an moa rifle. Just as a side note i am not at all criticising the man’s shooting , i’m sure he is an excellent marksman . It’s just the limitations of the sub 12 medium at extended range 👍

My friend I shoot blink 80yds + every week at the range with my to really really really old mates 75 and 77 I am only 52 .lol We find blinking 50yds + A hell of a lot more fun Then the pellet on pellet 30 35yds Kill shots 30 40yds. But the real fun starts speed shoting 60yds + 4min to hit 13 targets at them distance . Take us back to being kids with the old break barrels . At them distance you need luck as well as skill . Just one thing to pass on to you . Video tape is a gift from the gods to us as a wind vain . I myself don't shoot off I wait for that little gap when the wind To drops Then rattle them off using the video tape of course.. Some time ago you helped me out and made a video for me to about the air wolf . Since then my air wolf died. I just when to us it one day and it would fire ones and then nothing. Sent it in to daystate new motherboard and Service £580. But wow I mein wow what a rifle it is now fantastic sorry ther called me up to tell me it was going to be £150 cheaper .. Happy days . Fantastic company to deal with by email they get back to you with in 24hr . I never rang then people say they are a nightmare I emailed them Olivia replied every time with in 24hrs ... Even at£580 I would say I would of be just as happy with how the rifle Performs . I payed £700 for my air wolf and ended up paying extra £430 takes me to £1130.. Full service and motherboard . Daystate rifle for that price And peace of mind its OK 👍 Win win ....... Hopefully now I have a keeper Stay happy. Think if you had a shot n see target up at your 100yd I would put money on it your groups are with in 3in No need to reply You keep keeping.. I'll drop by again in the future 😊😊 You is the man

I agree, its a great rifle, but the costs are crazy compared to a mechanical rifle. It's more like having a computer, or tv repaired. The good thing is you now have the latest motherboard, which is probably a lot better than the original (more high spec with new hardware). I had the rifle upgraded as well with a new board and battery. As long as you don't let the battery run right down and check on it once a month, there shouldn't be any problems. I don't normally shoot out much past 80 yards, due to how bad the weather is at our range, but it is definitely capable in the right conditions. I will have to get some of the 8 inch or 12 inch splatter targets. When I was helping to test the Redwolf .25 and .30 calibre Safari rifles before they came onto the market, we shot these at 100 yards, but they were pushing between 65 and 85 foot pounds depending on calibre. At 50 yards they were pellet on pellet, even in strong winds, and shot flat out to 70 yards. Both were capable of shooting well inside a 2 inch group at 100 yards. The air blast from the 85 foot pound 30 calibre was something to be seen. It gave a good recoil, and would shoot through a 2x4 peice of wood with no problem. A beast of a rifle.
