Stumbled upon this video…love it! And a podcast? I’m in!
Thanks for this video guys. I recently moved out of TN and used to go on this hike, watching this video has cured some homesickness and induced nostalgia 🥲
Hats off to the Yakuza sound bite at the end, truly cultured boys!
Remember, radio is best at line of sight. If radio1 is in a valley, and radio2 is in another valley, very limited distance.
KZread may have a limitless amount of content and new videos uploaded daily.... however time and time again I come back to re-watching so many of these wellcrafted and rewatchable episodes that provide a lot of levity and healing. Thanks AA guys❤. This is my absolute number one channel on KZread.
Not sure if anyone pointed this out, but Chinese packaging usually lists their manufacturing date, not the best by date!
Hong Kong 🇭🇰 is true first world
About half way through, loving it so far! I'm surprised you guys don't hike with microspikes, in the winter here in the Whites they are basically permanently attached to my boots.
Congratulations to you both!!🎊 👏 🎉
I love you guys
I lived in Michigan for almost 30 years. This was my favorite hike/region in the lower peninsula. Blind lake, crooked lake and green lake campgrounds were my favorites for their serenity and greenery.
Omg. Low Gap. I grew up about 15/20 min from that trailhead. I've hiked that trail at least half a dozen times. I camped there more times than I can count. So cool to see it shown on a fantastic KZread channel as this. If you guys ever find yourselves in Indiana again you should check out Brown County State Park and the trails out there. A fantastic place for hiking in the area.
Aw man, the Tokyo Sky Tree shots reminded me of when I was landing in Japan. I went in September last year for the first time, however I didn't stay in Tokyo and spent my trip in Kofu, so I didn't actually see much of Tokyo. But when we were flying in and landing, the neverending view of buildings was incredible. We were flying around for at least 15 minutes, and it was city for as far as the eye could see. It was my first time flying, and I had never been to a large city like Tokyo before, it was incredible. Hopefully someday I'll be able to explore the city proper.
I loved this video! I live about 30 min from there and look forward to checking it out. Also love the music! You do such a nice job on production. Congrats on your marriage!
Next time visit in late spring not the end of summer. There is no point seeing a dry Yosemite Falls.
I just watched the first video you guys did there, so I'm super excited to see this one! (I know....I know...over a year late 😅) In particular in excited to see how the videography changed too! 💯💯
I did the same trek with a couple friends in late April (chilly!!!!)
Congrats on your marriage 🎉!!
You guys have come a long way since this video. Nice to see the natural progress and experience shown throughout the years.
Magnificent video!
Robbie solo videos are my favorite! ❤
That was a timber rattler
Sierra is a supèr dog
Kool video u all Kool friends
This is exactly how I've envisioned starting my southbound AT thru hike. I am not so sure now, haha! That Knife Edge is maybe going to be a bit too much for me afterall. We'll see. Fantastic video. Thank you!
Robby, you’re the exact personality and build of my son who no longer talks to me. I absolutely love watching your videos. I love Adventure Archives as a whole, but I think I became addicted after seeing one of your first solo hike videos. Brilliant personality. Great editing skills. Inspirational. Funny! Great stuff as always. Thank you.
LMAO throughout this video!! "...this is the end of tan pants"....."this is actually an invasive fungus, and if you pull it out, it's actually a pair of glasses"... Priceless!❤
My house is about 40 minutes away from savage gulf👍🏼
Hi Robby! Love your videos! What camera and camera gear do you use?
This was a most excellent watch and experience, great work!
I booked my site at blind lake before this video was posted and I’m super happy to have seen it! I’m leaving for the trailhead in a hour. Glad to get a preview of my hike before I go.
If house is house, why are herbs erbs and why is pecan not spelled pecon. Ha ha from South Wales UK. Not sure why we put a 'u' in colour though.
Hi, just saw your video! Nicely done and thank you. I’m planning the same trip, I’m on a budget and wondered if one can camp ⛺️ in the small town? Or some camp spot on the trail? Thank you goin advance for any suggestion. 🙏
I thought you were gonna show us how to use chopsticks. Gahhhh!!!!
Epic trail. Epic videos. And epic farmer’s tan on Thomas!
Love watching you! A few years late, but Just fyi no prairie dogs on Yellowstone. Those are uinta ground squirrels.
Robby great solo hike video. Love how much you enjoy your food. Congratulations. Yes if the others can do it another hike and hammock camping would be fun to see.
42:36 It is 46 degrees C here in Oman. The summer has just started
What a delightful video of your solo, we missed you and this share of your adventure made me get out my gear and plan a solo. PS: The Tuna Salad dance was one of the best of yours ever!
YO BIKE :D :D :D :D :D
What is your older video look better than your newer video?
Is that better than katahdin and the knife's edge. I'm not sure?
I feel like Daryl should be in your opening credits as part of the team! He seems like a really strong hiker. He's also great on camera and tells a lot of good stories.
darn tough heavy weight hiking socks, good choice! i LOVE Darn Tough socks. recognized them immediately.
Robby. Resilience is low with that one. We'd have problems being hiking buddies.😅 Always the first to tucker out and urge camp time. Gotta get some trekking poles, it'll improve endurance.
thanks guys
I still find some of these generic Midwest area forests to be supremely uninteresting and dull. Probably because I'm spoiled and have lived on the west coast all my life. However it doesn't matter where these guys go it's the people the conversation and their great character that makes any hiking and camping outing whether it's Glacier National Park or a generic unmemorable forest in the middle of Ohio
Amazing ambient sounds: strange bird calls, wind rushing through the trees, babbling brooks, rain. Lots of on the trail shots and…who doesn’t have a big smile from watching Robby enjoy his food! His wife’s meal looked delicious.
And again, I am watching this episode. ❤ My husband and I hiked around the same area as in this episode. It was in the middle of summer, long story short, 'bout died... well, I felt like I would die! 😂 I told him to just throw me off the bluff and let me try to roll back down to the car. I love watching you guys! I love it when I see y'all hike in the same places we do. Y'all are so awesome!!!!❤❤❤❤😊
