Welcome to In Pursuit ...360. I will discuss everything law enforcement, the good the bad and the ugly. There will be a concentration on the hiring process for law enforcement agencies and the law enforcement agency interviews. I discuss plusses and minuses of leadership and and different types of agencies. I answer questions and pay tribute to everyday heroes.

I was extremely nervous to be truthful in my polygraph. I had smoked within the last year and I knew that would probably disqualify me. But I owned it and said it, they passed me, I start my trooper academy in a month.
THANK YOU SIR YOU ARE BEYOND AMAZING JUST AMAZING
Thanks!
What about test for cheating spouses
Just came across your videos and its been helpful I just pass my agility test and have my review July 3. I'm so excited yet so nervous. I want this career so bad. I imagine what it will feel like when I put on the uniform for the first time. And this fear of what if it never happens.
Thanks and I hope to here fome you do a great job on what you do ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Ok, let me get this straight....Our government taxes the people for foreign countries' security, endless war, and blatant criminal corruption. Yet we can barely afford to live in our country. But be a government servant, its job security? Why?
Do you think having a charge off accounts that im paying off from 5 year ago would disqualified me. I know they check credit scores, i was not the smartest person in my 20's im trying to build my credit.
I'm interested in the details of working in the police records unit. Do you have information to send me on that? Thanks for all you do in helping others have vital information in discovering amazing insight into this amazing field of helping others.
I have an interview at PD this week, for telephone response unit. It includes taking reports, going to court, and other tasks. I can't find any videos for interviews for this type of role. Any suggestions? I worked at sheriffs dept for 4 years, so I have some backround.
How many police prefer the American flag over the blue line flag?
Im having my oral interview for a department. But theyre having a group interview instead of a one on one
Just had my board interview, feeling positive. I hope for the best as I’m an older applicant. (42)
Love listening to this gent
Do you happen to know anything on what might be asked during a board interview to be a game warden?
Articulo 260.3..orden.govierno
Articulo 145.. policía
So it sounds as if they go through public posts / info. Do they hack into your accounts at all and go through messages / personal stuff ?
I was in the oilfield so they were more worried about me going back to my higher paying job. I told them all the reason why i wanted to be a cop and it still wasn’t good enough.
Standard answer - I want to be a police officer because I want to protect and serve. You won't get the job but it sounds good.
Is like you stop a lawyer and you didn't no about same changes , and you don't have an answer for he or she , you have to know what you doing.
I wish you interview me .
California, the hiring process is almost two years long...PT test, Written test, Polygraph and voice analysis, panel interview, background, psych (both written and interview) health exam, Chief's final interview.
Im just nervous i don't want to be filled .my dreams job
Yeah, make a living off stolen money, great advise!
Greg, thank you for making this channel. I have worked as a dispatcher for two agencies, and have started going through the process to become an officer. These videos helped me tremendously, and I nailed my board interview this week with my dream department! Thank you!
At what age are you too old to be a officer? If your still fit or becoming more fit.
Sheriff Depts are usually more flexible with age
THATS A STUPID QUESTION.. If you want me to do the Sergeants job just hand me the other applicants resume's and I'll meet you day after tomorrow with my critique and answer. Otherwise I have no information on the other applicants background.
4:39. Bingo! That's the key to any interview. Have a game plan. Your basically selling yourself to be hired
1:26. That's obvious. Yet this generation got no class
Cops break the law more than anyone else!!! biggest mafia in the world
Girlfriend cheated and i have proof but she passed the test, polygraph is a farse
I'm starting academy in a week! Just need to pass psych and medical. Thanks for everything.
Public unions are for people who cant survive independently. Youll pick up dead bodies and cart off drunks , all because you didn't study . Thank god for government propaganda or youd never get laid
I passed the interview, have my poly on Monday. I've been to this part in the process before, but I was beat out by a lateral transfer. Now I'm up against two lateral transfers.
What if you apply for agency A and are waiting for the next step in the hiring process however agency B that you also apply contacts you faster are interested and you.. my dilemma is I really want to be in agency A
A safe question to ask yourself (in order to determine which route you should take) is “Do I feel that I posses the qualities and traits they’re looking for in a strong qualified candidate, that I would be willing to bypass another agency currently showing interest in me over the one I want to be in, but hasn’t shown interest yet?” If you can answer that, then that should ease your mind into knowing how you will want to proceed..
Currently did my polygraph and now I’m just waiting on the results for that.
I'm about to do a fitness test/reading test on the 29th for a College Police Department. I unfortunately got "Non-Selected" by a local Sheriff's Office after I had the Oral Board and Sheriff/Chief Interview. I applied to a couple others and still waiting to hear from them.
Thank you for share your experience. Be safe thank you again
Just passed my interview. Waiting for background check to come back. Thank you, Sir for your videos. Been a great help
I just finished my interview. These videos definitely helped but boy did they grill me! I have no clue how I did they were very bland interviewers. I’m super nervous. I feel like I didn’t do well. 😭
Yeah they are trying to stress you out to see how you do under pressure/stress. You got this!
Please help ! I have a very important couple of questions about becoming a cop. I was generally discharged (under honorable conditions) out for the military for weight control. I want to become an officer insanely bad and just want to know if it’s possible
As long as you were not discharged under 'unhonorable conditions,' you are indeed eligible to pursue a career in law enforcement. Goodluck!
I want to become a deputy in the county I live in but I was wondering if I could even become an officer. I was discharged from the military with a general (under honorable conditions) for being overweight. I just don’t want to waste my time and money going through schooling and background checks
I am convinced law enforcement agencies across the country hire the dumbest mf's they can find.
I've been a firefighter/paramedic for 10 years, do you think my skills as firefighter would a good skill set to mention when I have my interview with police dept I applied to?
I was just asking today - on reddit about what agency good for me, thinking about LA area - Let me first tell you a little bit about myself and what I am looking for. After staying in the U.S. for almost two years, I can finally apply to police agencies here. I was a police officer in Russia and loved the adventures that came with the job. However, for me, the example of real good police work has always been police agencies in the U.S. I now live in Louisiana, but I am thinking about moving to California because of the good salaries there and the way they work. I also love the LA vibe. I found out that the LA area and Orange County consist of different towns with their own police agencies (for example, Gardena, Santa Monica, San Fernando, and many others). I applied for LAPD because I can complete the written test online and later come to finish the other tests and wait. However, people on the internet say that LAPD is a big agency with a lot of bureaucracy and stuff that you might not like during the work. I checked nice areas to work in, and San Marino looks pretty nice, but they only hire lateral officers (you need to be an officer already, and you can transfer). So, can you give some advice about other areas? Also, I would like to find some friends, as I have never been there.
Thank you for making videos on the subjects that not many people think about but are still very important, because I just took an entry level test and there was a lot of recruiters from the big cities.
Crime is stable, but not police departments themselves. Agencies are very quirky
I just passed my oral board interview! your tips helped me so much i was able to take my experiences and show them the qualities they were looking for! I had lot of situational questions! i got my conditional offer and I'm on the next steps.
Which country
