its good idea to mix with destilate water and Sonax Bds 50/50 percent.???....after i washed the car....and still wet when i rise the sampoo.....after i spray this 50/50 solution on the wet car....and dry with microfiber towel....just little bit touch the paint ...dont move some much.....so the souliton will still left on the paint i think

can you use it on the headlights?
Hi there !! Yes you can but won’t last long, clear coat spray is better after polishing the headlights. But they are ceramic coating for glass. Depends on your head light, plastic or glass. Thank you
How long did the fantastic xml last. Am thinking of getting it and trying it but not if it only lasts for a week or something like that

@@alangligor Thanks for letting me know. If thats all then i'll be giving this one a pass and going for one that gives 3+ years with the amount of work that has to be done prior to putting it on.
The sonax ceramic has to left for 24hrs to get best result.

Hi there! Copyrighted song unfortunately, at first 5 months no issues. All of the sudden they get downloaded more so the owner of the song gets royalties, getting paid so I tried to add non copyrighted music. So I do apologise for this situation. All the best!

@@alangligor i want to ask you something i realy dont get why is there companys out there that only sell 18 month coatings to anyone yet they sell 3 or 5 year coatings to trade detailer ... if a weekend warrior can apply a 18 month coating surly they can apply a 3 or 5 year coating it just dont make sense?
@@garethdavies7564 hi Gareth! Well I have my opinion…. First 5 years for a coating is exaggerated. To maintain a ceramic coating for 5 years really!! Depends on weather ( hot,cold) Depends on owner … car washes Depends on colour ( black colour during summer it heats up etc Plus so many conditions that the car is put up to last the “ 5 year” ceramic coating “! Conclusion!! A 5 year ceramic coating is for show cars , only weekends summer cars etc. second a professional Detailer has more experience obviously plus they care about their product plus marketing. Some professional ceramic coatings need heat ( special uv lamps led ) etc And perfect condition to be applied ( humidity, heat, dustless environment etc) So Gareth these are my options about your question. I hope it helps!!

Hi there! Thank you for watching my video and thank you for your praise. Well when you machine polish the paint work properly plus adding a ceramic coating plus extra protection you will have good results!😜 Thank you! 🤙🤛
@@alangligor I want to learn machine polishing. What polisher do you use and is it dual action or rotary? I tried hand polishing my car with a heavy cut compound then fine polish, it took me the whole day, and I can still see deep swirl marks in the clear coat unfortunately
So rotary it is old school.. you need some experience before you try to machine polish your car .. dual action is more forgiving basically. If I were you I would get a panel from a scrapyard and practice on that first . Watch some KZread tutorials or get a course in this line of work. I have both and in different sizes. Rotary ( hence the name) eats away the clear coat much faster and you have to be careful NOT to burn the paint. Hand polishing is not recommended ( to hard) plus you don’t get results. You have to know what sort of paint is it.
Soft compound hard compound Ex: Toyota , Mazda, Skoda - soft paint Bmw, Mercedes,hard paint Basically more clear coat Please watch tutorials or get a course you don’t want surprises!😃
@@alangligor thankyou very much it's good to get professional advice, I was originally going to get a rotary as most people rave about them but I think I will get a dual action now just to be safe. Its surely got to be better/easier than hand polishing

Pff, it's stock and the numbers are very good for such a fuel efficient car with focus on comfort and long distance driving.

@@alangligor not the nicest to use especially on soft black paintwork & in terms of usability & finish gyeon mohs evo is streets ahead of this coating !!
I tried it but it stained my interior plastics white and left permanent damage removing the color from the dash. It was diluted 10:1. I even tried it 20:1 and still removed the color from my car.
Hi there First thank you for watching my video, second.. I’m sorry to hear that. To be honest I didn’t have any bad experience with this apc.. I’ve used it on loads of different car manufacturers and their interior plastic.etc But I did not left on to much , warm water combined with this apc no issues. Again sorry to hear that. Plus the recording of this clip was on a very hot day .. still no issues.
@@alangligor - Maybe it’s just the specific plastic dash in my car that is sensitive to it.
Most people who buy these less expensive ceramic coatings don’t a have a garage. So gotta apply it outside. 😢

Can I put sonax bsd on ceramic coated car for extra gloss. My concern is bsd does not contain sio2.
Hi Sai! How are you? Well Sonax bsd is very good as a detailer and gives very good protection. But to be used on its own , on top of a ceramic coating is better to use a sealant or a ceramic wax. I use BSD personally on the inner doors or on the inside of the bonnet ( the metal painted bits. In the boot area as well . Use a sonax extreme sealant to top up your ceramic coating.( I’ve got a video on my channel with this sealant) I hope this answers your question. No problem! Yes you may use both but on high gloss they are probably the same. Turtle wax products are ok I think .. specially the latest ones( I had some bad experiences with TW products) Me personally I would prefer products from: Gtechniq Garage therapy Koch kemie Sonax Meguiars These brands ⬆️ never disappoint! From cutting pads to deco shampoos to cleaning and sealants or ceramic coatings. Thank you again Ps make sure you apply them correctly!🤙🤛

I cut er 50/50 in a carpro dilute bottle and mists very nicely and no discernable difference in protection. I use it as a drying aide mostly.

Hi Nick! 37k miles so far .. usual service and 2 front disks warped… recently actually. Besides that no issues.
Any problems with it yet? Mine has 50k.
Mine has 49k. Brakes due in 4k miles. 3 services so far

Hi there! Thank you for watching my video and I apologise for “ no sound” I had to remove a song..🤦🏼♂️ copyright music. Scientific description 🤔 I can tell you from my experience that any ceramic coating if is not properly maintained doesn’t have the same water repellency , term : water beading water sheeting. What I mean by properly maintained: After winter for example the surface of the car needs a decontamination wash and after that a top up extra protection (with a sealant,wax etc). Decontamination is needed because of the salt , grit,industrial fallout. That’s why the ceramic coating gets clogged sometimes. I hope this answers your question. Thank you
Just bought this too try. Watched countless video on KZread. Better protection from putting on dry. Normally I paste wax car. This appears so much easier. Hopefully I can apply several coats first. See if that adds more durability. Good video. Cheers

I LOVE the Sonax ceramic detail spray. What’s the difference between this and the P&S beadmaker?
Hi there! Thank you for watching my video, well the difference between those 2 is that the beadmaker has crazy water repellency but doesn’t last as long as sonax! This is from my own experience! Thanks
@@alangligor Same here, I wanted to hear your opinion before giving my input. For some reason the beadmaker is a hassle/ to work with. I put some on my Maserari and it made the paint look haze and was difficult taking that haze off. I had to use 2-3 microfiber towels to buff it out. . Sonax ceramic detail spray works like a charm and leave the car super slick and glossy and beads like crazy. I just purchased a gallon of the Sonax ceramic detail spray for $85 dollars .
Next time shake the bottle spray couple of times on to a new microfibre towel spread the product on a panel at the time and then buff off. But do it in the shade , by wiping down extra 2/3 times you are risking of scratching your car( swirl marks!) Check my KZread channel for a video tutorial on gteqniq sealant. I’m showing the audience how is done. I hope I helps.
