I kind of appreciate Alena and Natasha because they are not hypocrites and are a bit different. There are a lot of hypocrites in the more autocratic countries. It is sometimes difficult to endure. But human rights are not automatically enforced and only attainable by a few and they are politically instrumentalized. But it is good that the protocols exist also bc of death penalty (in my country there isn't a constitutional court. also a commission of the parliament does not want anymore enforce egmr decisions...).These are not just freedom of speech (younger especially like it...) and above all fundamental rights often consist of many other meaningful articles, depending of who wrote it. The US places emphasis mainly on freedom of speech. but it's not only that. In fact, I would like it if there were sometimes more restrictions when so much nonsense is published in the "West". An independent constitutional court is the be-all and end-all of a functioning constitutional state, but that doesn't exist here in this small place in the middle of Europe the way it does (independently of parliament and Putin) in St. Petersburg. It's indirectly the economy and the money that rules here. Yeltsin has provided the constitution with autocratic elements such as decrees, almost similar to those in my country. Maybe there are some Russians who like Putin, the laws are executed and there is more protection and less chaos.

It's amazing how much Natasha and yourself are clones of the girls I used to hang out with in school when I was a kid, almost sixty years ago!!! Mentally, physically, emotionally... Everything.
