Sorry to object, but that Caesar dressing has mayo and mayo has egg! You can buy egg free mayo, but that jar looked like regular Helmand?

You should try cooking something that’s from Australia! 🇦🇺 Meat Pies, Sausage Rolls, Anzac biscuits (cookies) - Anzac stands for Australian and New Zealand Army Corps, Lamingtons, Pavlova (there’s a bit of a debate whether this is from Australia or New Zealand.) I’m sure you’d find recipes online for all of the things, if you choose to cook any of these 🙂 Also a fun, easy thing that is popular in Australia is Fairy Bread. It’s something that you guys would probably find weird, but it’s always at kids birthday parties.

Do cheese curds melt like a mozerella cheese? Also Tristan, have you ever tried adding bits of bacon to the gravy? I am not fond of gravy but bacon really sets off potatoes and this could work.

I’m not Canadian I’m from the UK and we would just call this chips and gravy. Also the gravy would be brown and delicious. Bisto or some other brand. Depending on what meat you’re having. It does look 👀 amazing apart from the herbs. I would definitely want to try it your way, 👍🏻🫶🏻

From Quebec here!! And there are so many different kinds of poutine. Try with cheese curds and spaghetti sauce over top. Also another yummy poutine is with cut up pogos or others make or call them fresh corn dogs and slice them up and add the cheese curds and top with brown beef gravey and some honey mustard sauce drizzled over the top. Soooo yummy!! We have fresh cheess here where it can be on the shelf for one day before we refrigerate. Room temp cheese is the squeeky cheese. Or put your bag 0f cheese curds in warm water before adding to the fries, it helps to make the cheese melt faster.

Tell kids not to wipe hands on their clothes. It’s not good for them and you get all kinds of germs on your hands from your clothes then transfer it to food. Think of it this way. They have dogs sit on them. When they got to the bathroom clothes touch the toilet and the floor. If their cleaning then they get dirt on them. If they take out trash it might touch their clothes. That’s how most people end up getting sick or food poisoning. People cut meat wipe it on their clothes then touch other food without washing hands. So to be safe try and get them not to do that. Harder than it sounds.
