“Is there another with the GT3RS capability?”Corvette Z06 is in the space at half the cost (991.2 aftermarket is $300k). Other part of your question “with the same desirability ?” I’d say no to the Z06 in that category although it’s still pretty cool I recently bought the 991.2 RS and even chose it over the 992 GT3 given similar aftermarket prices. I guess it’s all a matter of preference but to me the RS is the most visually appealing car of anything out there

Hi Roger, great video! Love your language and the music too - both engine and human :o) The car, of course isn't bad either. I'm the proud owner of a C4S in sharkblue and I really love it, although it is challenging to keep the coffee in the cup. All the best to your wife! 🍀🍀🍀

Just traded a '07 RS4 Audi for a '24 Cayman S. Not missing the V8 in the least.
These cars are maintenance prone and expensive to fix. Not fast either. The best way to keep it running is not to drive it.
Wouldn’t the insurance be relatively cheap if it isn’t that fast? I’m a big fan of these vintage cars but I don’t want the headache of expensive insurance and it always breaking. Any suggestions for cars like these? Is a Toyota Mk Mr2 good for example?
Suppose the real question is why not just buy a Jaguar F Type 🐆 and save 50k? Nothing against Aston, but let’s face it-they are strikingly similar cars in appearance and performance 🎭

my dream car, i hope to buy one after my first car (which i have to get after i graduate my 4y course because my dad wont let me buy a car beforehand) sadly i wont be able to get a new one since the 992 would have been in the past by then but i'm really hoping there will be a blue manual gts (with aerokit) on autotrader left by the time i can buy!

PDK is for daily drivers or people who track, manual for people who treat this as a weekend car for fun.
Only one I havnt driven but im currently saving for my first Just worried it will be under powered Compared the the others I’ve tested

Drove Manuel's all my life. I now have a 991.2 S with 420HP and like the PDK in higher HP Porsche's.

Hi, great video. In the market for one now,(2017) but online it says the battery is good for 3-5 years? Do you have to replace the battery as time has gone on? I take it it’s rather expensive to do? Thank you

Has anyone taken the GT3 and GTS and placed them on a dyno to compare actual rear wheel hp? The GTS is heavier than the GT3 and its listed hp rating is lower also, but its straight line performance is at least as good as the Gt3 (or even slightly quicker). Is it possible that Porsche may be deliberately understating the real HP of the GTS so as not to hurt the GT3 position in the 911 hierarchy?
Yes, at least one dyno test has shown the GTS to be putting out 500+ BHP

yup its amazing bike. i have the 2016 version EUR 3. with spark exhaust, and Ac schnitzer wheels. and mono seat. right now it weighs 190 kg, so its pretty amazing to drive now

Street? Regular manual all day. Street with occasional track use? Regular manual. Track only? Ok maybe the DCT/PDK. My 2¢ Edit: yup, manual it is, but alas, no GT3 at all, I'll take the GT3T, manual, Exclusive Manufaktur interior, Sepia Brown over Cohiba, or, ready for this?......GT Silver over Riviera Blue leather, yup, Silver over Blue, silver wheels, and I'll have the PCCB's calipers painted in Rivera Blue, with of course, Dundon's cat-less headers, their valved system leading into their Inconel Mini-Crack Pipe exhaust..... I just need an allotment and someone to lend me that money without the expectation of getting paid back anytime soon if at all 😅🤣👌

I went for a Manual, at the time, 2012, Porsche were really pushing the PDK and i spent hours test driving it, but the character/and sound of the car quickly became monotonous - shifting sounds the same on the way up, every time!, and on the way down! every time - i went for the manual, which is a direct mechanical connection with the Car rather than the fake paddle switches on the steering wheel to a computer, and I'm glad i did !!!

Great review and insight. Here’s a question to the knowledgeable Morgan enthusiasts. I want to buy one for the odd short tour, Ireland etc not the world. I have an option for a 17 model with the Ford GDI engine or a later BMW model, I know there are a lot of upgrades and differences but is there 25k worth of difference and extra fun
