Thanks for the video. Are there spaces for luggage on the public buses from Bologna Centrale to other parts of the city? Thanks
Hi! There is no designated place for luggage on public buses. 😊
@@goneonvacation Thank you
Very well detailed and informative video! Thank you!
@@imagine_if_i_had_socks Thank you for your appreciation ❤️
But how kids can go through without being charged?
@@felipeantoniazzi299 Kids up to ten years old travel for free in Rome, so you don't have to pay for them. For kids older than ten, you will have to pay. If you choose the tap&go, you will have to use a separate card for them. However, if you spend a few days in Rome, it's cheaper and easier to get a pass for 48h, 72h, or a week. Here is our full guide about public transportation in Rome, I hope it helps kzread.info/dash/bejne/pXl825SchZnLYrA.htmlsi=ZDirgdHGb18_3WgS

Very beautiful,i miss this city

Is there a high risk of pickpocketing during the tourist season in Rome's public transport? How safe and crowded are the metro lines outside of the tourist season? Are the buses and trams safer than the metro? How reliable are the tram lines?
Hi! As long as you're careful and aware regarding your belongings, you're safe everywhere. 😁 Some tips: keep a hand on your purse, don't leave your backpack unattended, as you would in any other crowded city. Avoid talking to flower/bracelet guys, as they can get annoying, even aggressive. The metro is safe, and so are buses and trams, but a lot more crowded. Buses are the least reliable, but it depends on the area. In the center, buses come every few minutes, so you won't have to wait a lot. However, outside the city center, you can't count on them. The least crowded and most reliable is the metro, because trains come every few minutes. 😊
Hi, if you buy a weekly pass with unlimited trips, you said it only needs to be validated once. Do you mean once throughout the 7 days spent in Rome and using the buses?
Hi! The weekly ticket starts being valid the first time you validate it. So, you validate it on your first trip, and then you have 7 days of unlimited trips, on all public transportation means. After that first validation, it's not necessary to validate it again when riding the bus. However, on the metro, you still need to scan it every time, in order to open the turnstiles. I hope I've explained it well 😊 I am here if you have any more questions 👍 Enjoy Rome!
0:52, What, you don't eat Italian ice cream? Do you eat Italian ice cream?
😅 I do like gelato. The other sweets were too sweet for me, though.
Okay I see.
6:38, Is that universal power outlet (international adapter) or different outlet? (similar to Amsterdam, Athens, Belgrade, Budapest, they have almost the same plug as Rome, not international adapter.) But were flying to Copenhagen, stay for a few days, before flying or take a bus to Hamburg, Berlin, Warsaw, Krakow, Bucharest and Istanbul or Helsinki for vacation.
It is type C/F, the same used in all the European cities you've mentioned. You need an adapter that has two round pins 😊 In the train, there is also a USB port to charge your phone, if you have that kind of a wire. Your trip sounds amazing!!
3:33, Yeah it's always better to use the app, so that it's available offline, similar to download airline app, sometimes even though the wifi is not working on the plane, they can acces in flight entertainment on the tablet and laptop.
When we were on a rush, we bought the tickets on our way to the train station through the app, but if we had plenty of the time, we used the machines. Both options were Ok. Be careful with the validation, because many tourists skip that part, and I'm pretty sure the inspectors are "targeting" tourists.
I see, okay. Thanks.
3:37, Really? No way, wow, interesting history. I was in Jerusalem 2 weeks ago when I visit, it's awesome, but very hot outside at 2pm.
I know what you mean! It's so hot everywhere! 🥵
Yeah not good. Best time to visit is spring and autumn.
Can you use this pass on a bus?
Yes, it works on all public transport means 👍😊
I would like to ask you from charles de gaulle airport to Paris what can I choose Zone ,Thx
CDG airport is in zone 5 😊
Hey, i wanted to ask that metro and bus has separate weekly passes? If i am riding both then ill need 2 passes, 1 for metro and 1 for bus?
Hi! No, it is the same pass you use for both 😊
Just the video we've been looking for, thank you! Also by "card" for the busses and the marconi express - do you mean credit card or is it some other card we should order beforehand?
Thank you for your appreciation! 😊 Yes, the credit card.
This video is awesome, thank you for your help!
Thank you for your appreciation! 🤗 I am glad it helped!
Bella roma mia 🇮🇹🍕🍝

Why should the sound go so high while not talking? I don't see it necessary to be honest, otherwise informative video
Thank you for your feedback 😊
Thank you for the video! Its very helpful!
Thank you for your appreciation, I am glad it helped! Enjoy your trip! 😊
Hi when you use the Marconi express is it a problem if you have a large case
No, no problem 😊
So a Navigo decouverte card can not load single t+ tickets?
Hi! Navigo decouverte can't be loaded with single t+ cards, here are all the passes you can load on this type of card www.iledefrance-mobilites.fr/en/tickets-fares/media/navigo-decouverte-travel-card. 😊
@@goneonvacation I wonder if you use mobile phone app, then you can load any to it, or they are separate apps?
@@lsman38 If you use your phone to buy and validate your tickets, you can add t+ tickets to it. 😊 The app is: Île-de-France Mobilités. Go to purchase/on my phone, and you'll see your options there. 😊
Very helpful
Thank you for your appreciation 🤗
Vivo😂
Si io ci vico
Can someone tell me how to travel from Roma Termini to pigneto plz
😁 Here it is. Option 1: take the metro line A for 3 stops, until San Giovanni, then exchange with green metro line B for another 2 stops. Get off at Pigneto 😊 Option 2: You can take the trams 5 or 14 for 9 stops, and get off at Prenestina/Giovenale.
So if I have weekly ticket, do I need to tap in on every journey I enter?
Hi! The weekly ticket only has to be validated once, on your first ride. However, at the metro, you have to tap it every time, because the ticket opens the turnstiles. So, on buses just once, on the metro every time 😊 I hope I explained it well. Enjoy your trip!
Really great video! Super informative and to the point. Thank you :)
Thank you for your appreciation! 🤗
I enjoyed your video as it was detailed and to the point. I do wish you would have included if you can use your credit card and phone to pay for services. My understanding is that you can?
Thank you, Jeff! Yes, you can use both 😊
É bellissimo 😍🤩🥳
this pass you chose on the video has ilimited trips for 5 days?
Yes 😊
@@goneonvacation and it can be used in metro and RER?
You answered so many questions! I feel much more confident now, thank you!!

Hi! I was planning to use the bus only once. So when I hop on the bus I tap on the machine, and when I want to get off do I need to tap again? Thank you for your help!
No, just once 😊
thank you very helpful

Thank you very much! Very clear and concise directions!! We need more vloggers like you :)

The NO. 1 video on travelling within Rome!!! Extremely helpful. Thank u❤
Thank you for your appreciation! 🤩🤗
As a person who is planning his 1st Europe trip, your channel is really helpful. Thank you very much for that. 1 question, could you please recommend a hotel in Rome that is not very expensive I would really appreciate that
Thank you for your appreciation! This is a hotel we stayed at in Rome, the Prati area. www.booking.com/hotel/it/il-gattopardo-relais.en.html?aid=7957060&checkin_monthday=8&checkin_month=4&checkin_year=2024&checkout_monthday=9&checkout_month=4&checkout_year=2024&no_rooms=1&group_adults=2&room1=A%2CA We paid a very good price, and really enjoyed our stay. The area is more affordable than the city center, and it is well connected with metro and buses. This hotel is right near the Ottaviano metro station. 😊
I’m Italy!! Ciaooooo !! Italiani fatevi sentireeeeeeeeeee 🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹
Ciao!!! ❤️❤️❤️
The most beautiful town in the world!
I agree! 🥰
I will be traveling to Rome with my wife, my 77 year old father in law, and two children age 8 and 13. Are the ticket prices different for senior citizens and children? We will be in Rome for 4 nights. Thank you!
Wow, that sounds like a nice trip! Kids under 10 travel for free when accompanied with an adult, but there are no discounts for seniors 😊 Enjoy your vacation!
Do we need to tap for validation both when we on and off the bus? Thanks before
Hi! If I understand correctly, I think you are asking about tapping your credit card at the tap&go machine. You only have to tap one time, when you get on the bus. Be aware that you have to use a separate credit card for each passenger. The same goes for the metro station, you only tap at the entrance. :) Does this answer your question, or do you mean the paper bus tickets?
Food looks so delicious!! And prices in Italy are really good, here in the US you pay $20 for a pasta dish.
🤗 I agree, they are cheaper than where we live, too! 😊
Thank you for all the great tips!
Thank you for your comment, Marcela! 🤗
Also Sistina Chapel.....
Yes! A masterpiece ❤️
I was there❤❤...most be are not aware thus is the back area. The entrance to the Vatican is around the block. It is small and not attractive.
❤️ Did you like it? I am planning to go back there, maybe spend more time in the Basilica 😊
Can i use the “72 hour roma ticket” to come to castelromano designer outlet or centro commerciale Porta di Roma?
Hi! Yes. You must use Atac or Cotral services. To Castel Romano use the Cotral buses from Laurentina metro B station. To Porta di Roma use buses 38 and 80 from Termini station, piazza Venezia or from the Ionio station of the B/B1 metro. Enjoy your trip!
