I transferred a few imports and a couple wet sticks I bought into pon and self watering pots the only one I’m worried about is my Queen Anthurium she was on the struggle bus when she arrived and lost all her leaves. But everything else is doing well. I can’t stand the fungus gnats just like you so I’m in the process of wanting to transfer everything! Thank you for sharing your experience 🫶🏽

I think this a hybrid of the Florida beauty and something else. I know that the florida species climb but they do not need a moss pole because the stem is short while the patioles are long ; instead a support stake will be fine.

@@aprilbrooks I wouldn't dare! I like the idea of it being in a yummy nutrient dense medium. I killed my first one by putting it in a glazed ceramic pot and I have not been right since. I tried air layering with those plastic balls and Pafcal! I saw long roots last night. When the ball is full of roots, I will be repotting with the mother plant to have a nice bushy plant. Glad your plant is doing well.

I have this plant but it’s in my own mix I make which has soil in it. It has gotten huge, I have it on a moss pole also. Once it settled in it took off.

Hello beautiful. This plant I purchased 2 yrs ago from Publix on clearance. Grows as a climber and sizes up so quickly. Only set back is efns. It gets a shower often. I haven't been successful with propping it yet tho. Have fun!!!

Yes, I have the fertilizer I used linked in my amazon storefront- but I use a combination of dynagro foliage pro, superthrive and cal-mag! 🌱

Not sure if I missed it. With the Monstera repot in that large clear pot I would have put a wicking set up. They work so well.

April, have you tried Mychorrizae fungi with your pants in soil? It’s sold in powder and granules. I don’t know if you can use it with plants in pon…if anyone knows chime in. It’ll help your plant grow stronger healthier roots and I feel it helps with transplant shock. Love your pilea! My Jacklyn is officially dead. 😢 My El Choco is doing well, I have it in soil along with my Thais & Albos. My daughter found the prettiest Thai at her local grocery store for $30 and the variegation was beautiful and even. I don’t think she needed it but she fell in love with it and it jumped into her grocery cart. 🤷🏻♀️ I have not been so lucky but I hate grocery shopping.

If you can get a hook into the wood behind the drywall, it should be very secure for hanging. I use a stud finder. If I miss the stud with the drill, I just patch up the hole with drywall mud. Really pretty plant! Interesting how you use different substrates.
