    My dad introduced me to Danny Gatton when I was a little kid and I’ve been listening to him ever since. He’s arguably one of the greatest guitar players, if not the greatest guitar player who ever lived. Also, his saxophone player could fucking wail.

    Saba then Roxy was my hangout in those days. I'm pretty sure i was there for this. Spent nuff time hanging in the green room under the stage. Nice times!

    Wasn't he just terrific. Sad that he is no longer with us. Chet Atkins (RIP), Mark Knopfler, Jimi Hendricks (RIP), Carlos Santana, or anyone else, can't hold a candle to this guy. Too bad the never played together.
