What’s up?! My name is Mike Levitsky, I am a Pastor and musician from Southern California. On this channel you can expect to see drum lessons for all levels of drummers. I try to cover everything from technique to grooves to fills. If you would need on a particular topic feel free to hit me up. I am also toying with the idea of doing drum support videos where I would watch people play and offer advice on how to improve.
Thanks for stopping by.

1:44 im fxng dead 😂😂
Moral of the story: always have backup drumsticks
1:45 she took a dive. that wasn't even a hard hit
Pauses every 39 seconds to dazzle us w/ knowledge. C'mon chrome dome, lemme hear the tunage. Torturrrrrrre
Pause 10 sec in to discuss kit, how about before starting? Is it necessary to puke words over her playing nonstop? Okay, less than 60 sec later, another jarring interruption, MORE kit description, round 2. Another pause 30 sec in, I'm not tryna be a dick, but is it possible ANYONE wants to hear your firehose puke knowledge dump. If so, my bad, but a suggestion, let me hear it uninterrupted and if you absolutely need to dazzle me with your knowledge ceaselessly, replay that part w/ commentary as opposed to puking over every square inch of Senri Chan's monstah kit woik. Hey, I might totally be an outlier and people wanna hear pause and puke rather than her playing, just one dipshits opinion.
Maravillosa!!!
Junna is a beast. She is amazing. She hits hard as …. She makes it look so easy. Check out her drum covers. I personally like her cover of Metallicas Lux AEterna. Lars can go home. Check out her fills. She is incredibly talented. She started when she was 15. Great reactions. Love from Sweden.
Saluda makes awesome cymbals and they are a USA company with a great staff. I bought a set of their Earthworks cymbals and also have a few of their prototypes.
I just bought five Earthworks series cymbals and they're excellent! 21" ride, 2 17" medium crashes, an 18" medium crash, and a custom-made 16" 'hissing' china (Yes...they will custom make cymbals to get the sound you want!). Great company and solid quality in their products.
The girls are Babymetal SU metal, Moa metal and Yui metal. The band are the east Kami band. Queen SU is on vocals. ❤❤❤
I was watching SINSTV and I accidently clicked this video and honestly I see no difference at all except for the content change. 😅😅
What's the 3rd band and song?
Double bass for sure …
man you hit pause WAY too much, unwatchable
I enjoy watching you dissect the songs structure ...welcome to the foxhole
I enjoy hearing your knowledge...lmao scary
日本には馴染み深い「3.3.7拍子」が有ります。
this was helpful❤

Biggest mistake reviews make when they first listen to Band Maid is putting them into a genre...the more you listen you will see why !!!
Great playing and thanks for this lesson! What metronome are you using? Thank you.
Did you just use one tool or is it 2 of the same one?
One of my best musical memories is the cover of "Blue Rondo a la Turk" by "The Nice" in the late 60's...no, I'm not that young anymore 🦊🤘
Just watched your take on Larnell Lewis. Hmm. It's been a year since you've done reactions and I don't see any Jacob Collier or Snarky Puppy. You could do both at once with "Don't You know" which also includes Larnell. Jacob has tons of different ones with different genres, either overlayed a capella or playing multiple instruments like on "All Night Long".
You just look like johnny sins
She plays better than you ever will
No one needs your validation
He uses the whole kit! Love the accents on the splashes and variation with all the tempo changes. What a power house! Great way of breaking the video down as well 👌
Ooof, hands down got to be one of the best drummers!! And and and he’s also into piano playing which is so cool (correct me if im wrong tho, i remember reading it)😊
Those things are GARBAGE!
It's been two years, and you haven't discovered YOYOKA?
from my pow u are the only one real drummer teacher on youtube
Last name is correct......first name pronounced "Sendi"
Both are great, just different.... Just depends on the sound space.... One may be better in a certain situation....
Yup, it was Lingus
Holy can’t believe the is song is this old already
The “r” in senri is pronounced like a “d” so it sounds phonetically like “sendi.” It’s like Cindy, but with an “e.”
ABR should play their music in churches, without Jake doing lyrics, just talking about how Jesus saved him. Best sermon ever.
The percussionist is Negah Santos. She plays with the Late Show band in addition to Cory and she is always smiling so that is no indication as to whether or not she goofed. She is fabulous.
1 and 2 and 4.. its easy. R u a real drummer?))))

I Love the Wuhan
for cymbals i would put the pads under the cymbal if its adhesive on the back and not sticky like moongels
Mostly legit drops...then 1:30 which is a total giveaway, figured it was petering out, take a drink, 1:43 and blasted water all over my keyboard.
Great instruction....I have been drumming for a few months and was curious how a person could transition from singles to doubles smoothly. Mike watching you make it look effortless shows just the amount of time and practice you have dedicated to be this good... How many hours practice did you have in when you got this exercise down pat ? ...200 ? 500?
I agree Saluda is better. The Wuhan has a nasty overtone. That said, I have the 10 inch Wuhan, and it is much better!
Check out his playthrough of Invisible Enemy, most beautiful thing I've ever seen or heard
Technically Plini is just the guitarist lol
Esa chica es increíble. Y la banda es una bomba atómica. Son increíbles! Saludos desde Argentina!👍👍

Nice reaction to a great drummer whose work I find consistently creative. The phonetic spelling of Senri Kawaguchi is: Senri Kawaguchi. That's kinda how it works -- romanized spelling of Japanese is phonetic.
