  This is been how Super Saiyan Blue should've been introduced. Goku or Vegeta in Super Saiyan God in a beam clash against an opponent SSJG can't handle and as they're about to lose, they instinctively try to go Super Saiyan to draw out more power while still in SSJG. Then BAM! A flash of Super Saiyan Blue over powers the villain and they day is saved. So much better.

  I tried this new DLC today and honestly, it was mostly disappointing. The Broly Story Arc here was totally unoriginal, redundant, and “what-the-heck” rushed given we already did the Legend Patrol Version and the Dragon Ball Super Version in this game. The Super Saiyan God Vegeta Arc was also lacking in charisma, wild imagination, and explosive action compared to the Dragon Ball Kakarot DLC version. The new Parallel Quests were ridiculous and lame with lazy writing. Furthermore, most of the new skills added seemed like unnecessary and poorly imagined variations of already present skills from the previous DLCs. And the designs for the “Ultra Supervillian” forms were very poor. They weren’t like in the trailer. The only good things were the Goku Black Story Arc and just a few of the new skills from Android 18, Videl, and Vegeta.

  BTW the design for knight is clean but phase 2 is really easy because you can just parry the shield and aim it to knight :D

  Imagine replacing those guys with characters from Touhou Project. I’d have Tenshi Hinanawi (in place of Sora, somebody please do a Smash mod of her where she’s over Sora or a general KH mod once Steam version comes out) and Youmu Konpaku (in place of Riku, also imagine the two fighting each other but that’s a different beast entirely) taking on Junko (in place of Xemnas). That would be awesome!

  I gotta say, Xemnas does have some danmaku elements to him. You are pretty much dodging his lasers during this fight and (SPOILER ALERT) towards the end, it’s bullet hell that Sora and Riku survive! As a big fan of danmaku STGs, this pleases me.
