i really like his character honestly. he's like what a dragonball fan would be in the actual show. loves the fights, respects the characters, and is just vibing with all the stuff

I actually liked piccolo being goku's rival more than vegeta just because of how these two were polar opposites of each other in more ways than one their origins. Goku was from a race of savages who loved to fight and were extremely violent as a result goku himself was extremely violent as a child but then one day he hit his head and forgot who or what he was and as a result of being raised in humanity kindness (his grandfather gohan) goku became a kind and pure hearted person. Piccolo on the other hand came from a race of peace loving aliens who didn't like violence and as a result his original self wasn't evil or violent but one day he hit his head and forgot who or what he was and after witnessing all of the evils of humanity a darkness was born in his heart which would later become the piccolo we see here

But wait? I thought his original self “the nameless namekian” (which is both Piccolo and Kami combined), wanted to replace the guardian of earth before him, that’s why he expelled the evil in his heart (which Kami said Nameless has always had) in order to live up to the title, but then he forgot his name and in turn created demon king piccolo.

It’s a cool parallel, but the low class saiyan vs the prince of all saiyans is an incredible dynamic and rivalry, the message it sends about how class doesn’t define your potential is amazing, and their relationship grows much more naturally and closer than Piccolos and Goku. Goku and Vegeta are best friends as much as Vegeta would deny it 😭 And Goku influencing someone who’s lineage and character is built around violence and war hits more than Piccolo, who’s character was vengeance and who’s lineage is goodness and peace

I see your point. It'd be even better if she got to occasionally join her husband and sons in their adventures to save the world and occasionally the universe at large. 😊 That being said, I honestly prefer a balance for ChiChi, a wife and mother who wants the best for her family, but also knows when it's time to save the world. ❤ I think they achieved that balance in the Buu saga and in this game (for the most part anyway 😅). At least I would prefer a balance if we have to have ChiChi on the sidelines. I'd honestly prefer her to be an honorary member of the Z fighters, training when she can and fighting alongside her husband Goku and the others on occasion.

I mean,can you really blame her? Her child got kidnapped and she didn't even know,her husband stays dead all the time. She didn't want Gohan to risk his life fighting like Goku does,she wanted him to be safe and be a normal child,pretty much like every other moms want. It's normal for her to be angry to Goku. Plus Gohan originally didn't even like fighting,this justifies her even more. She literally got killed by Buu because she thought Gohan was killed by him. It just shows how much chichi cares for her children. Just a reminder that poor chichi from the trunks timeline ended up losing both his husband and son,and she can't even have them back.

@@pietrolollo1233 I get that. But if the Earth is destroyed then Gohan wouldn't have even been alive to be a normal kid. Besides, that doesn't excuse Chi-chi pretending Goku doesn't exist in the aftermath of the Saiyan Saga after not seeing him for a whole year. It wasn't even his fault Gohan got involved in the fight, Piccolo is the one who trained him. Goku was dead, makes no sense for Chi-chi to take it out on him. All Goku did was bring his son to Roshi's island to meet his old friends. He died protecting him from Raditz.

This is how it all started. The hero vs the villain, the saiyan vs the namekian.

Yeah. Goku can be too cocky for his own good, but considering how often he wins, it's hard to blame him. 😅

This final battle was super good for this dlc. I'm glad we got content from a game like this.

I relly love how they stayed true to the art style of dragonball throughout all its changes. They couldve eaisly used the z style of art but went out of their way to stick to the source material

Hey, you might want to take a look at your comment thread for the dbz kakarot ssj3 goku vs ssj2 vegeta final battle video. A guy named BigVEE has been harassing people for the past 24 hours nonstop.

If someone were to tell me that Goku would become a god punching grandfather and Piccolo were to become an grumpy alien uncle to that same grand child after watching this I would have said they were crazy.

Life is what it is. Junior then taught Son Gohan to be a real warrior. Props to all this cast of characters. And this Saga is so beloved as well :D

Sparing piccolo is one the best decisions goku has ever made, he could nver have defeated raditz without his help. Besides that, goku is right to deduce that the dragon balls are a indisposable resource for protecting the earth. Besides piccolo and kami, every single warrior is disposable so long as they have the dragon balls

Yeah. Goku's Meteor Combination technique NEEDS TO come back as a moveset for him in future Dragon Ball games. It's easily of his most underrated moves and arguably one of his coolest! 😎 It really shows how far Goku has come as a martial artist. 😊

Ah yes........The classic meteor combo. 15:58-16:11 By far Goku's most underrated move. It's really cool! 😎 He should use it more often. I love all of his other techniques, but the classic meteor combo really shows how far he's come as a martial artist. 😊
