It’s that time of year again
Alice, Loved your presentation but one minor correction: Cinder Cone and the Painted dunes are in the Eastern portion of the Park. And probably the easiest way to access them is from Butte Lake which is on a dirt road that takes off from Hwy 44. I would highly recommend to any park visitors that they obtain the Lassen Volcanic National Park map published by National Geographic. Just the “Right” level of detail for most destinations. The road through the Park has just opened this last week as I write this, June 26th, 2024. Mark L
What is the location and name?
I have been go to Mexico City before
That would be cool.
Absolutely gorgeous 😍
Loves these parks. These parks are mainly backcountry with about 5 percent of the park being developed.
4 minutes in, that’s the nicest hotel I’ve ever seen
Its called Amor Arenal, and yes its pretty awesome!
Slick dive !
Great trip .
Lovely! Thanks for sharing the inspiration for some hikes!
I tried the shortcut and ended up climbing the wrong peak. The long way from Gunsight pass is longer but less rough. It involves losing a few hundred feet, though. Thanks for the cool video- it takes me back...
Oh no well it’s certainly difficult to follow I’ll give you that.
Hello, I will be going up to visit the Redwoods in October.
Giants called those islands home . I would sail out there with my family , great place
I’d love to sail around it someday
that’s dope !!
Did you see the ice wall?
Awesome 👍🏻😊 Thank you Alice! God Bless 🙏🏻 Appreciate you my friend 🫶🏻
Cool
Hey Alice. What is the furry guy in the second frame?
That’s a marmot! They live in high altitude places mostly but are pretty prevalent in the Sierras, and colorado too
curious with the small cabin how much you could take with you? Just a carry on/large back pack?
Luggage fits easily under the bed and the closet was quite spacious. You don't need a lot there are no formal dinners just hiking, lounge and active wear is all you need.
Thank you for such a quick response. I know you don't need a lot, but wasn't sure about storage.
I'll just stay home and watch these vids! Thank You!
Reminds me of a little 3 day Colorado River/Utah adventure last year. Going to the Bar10 Ranch, staying in a covered wagon, then being helicoptered down to the river for 2 days rafting. You’d love it!
That sounds epic
Go before 6 am. It’s early for sure but you get to see Sun Rise. Especially if you can’t get a reservation. Same after 3 but get there pretty close to 3 pm because the line gets long quickly
Moro rock was too scary for me, I hate heights. Beautiful place though.
Great video. Just a correction. It is not the water that used to surround Mexico City. It is the lake on top of which it was built.
Very hard to argue with this list. Excellent job.
Lol
Now that's a lux sheepherder's wagon!
The most boring national park in the world
Hah ok that’s a strong statement . I would say the St. Louis arch is actually the most boring.
I would be more than happy to stay there for a few weeks. Thanks Alice!
I do
Awesome! Beautiful place! Thank you Alice 😊 God Bless 🙏🏻 Appreciate you my friend 🫶🏻
I didn't realize there were days that didn't have scorching sun...🤣been to that island so many times but have only set foot on it a dozen or so times. great fishing destination. with the prospects of possible cloud coverage I might consider a hike over there. cycling is brutal. flew in once for fun. 13 miles down from airport in the sky, 13 miles climbing back to the 206.....not for the novice riders
Timing is definitely key. I would say from November to April is the key time
This just popped up on my feed! Amazing! I can't believe you did that :) I would try it
Axis Mundi . Spectacular . Super cool top .
What a view ! 😊 Thank you Alice 👍🏻 God Bless 🙏🏻 Appreciate you my friend 🫶🏻
Crush.
looks cool
I lived there six years. It really is quite a pretty country with interesting culture and history, wish more people would go visit.
Wow. What parts did you live in? My sister was stationed in Okinawa for a little bit, but I never got to visit her in the three years she was there and I really regret it.
@@AliceFordAdventures Tokyo, but traveled all over. Hokkaido is delightful. Never climbed Fuji oddly enough. People are SO polite, it's just amazing. ❤
You are nuts lol
It’s been said before 🤣
Love all of the videos you do. You are excellent at them. Seems like you have a very busy schedule! New subscriber!
WHich tent do you got there. I've been looking for one that is totally screen on top like that and not wak colors. Thanks.

Nice job !! I’ve done kings peak twice, first time in a day (Not recommended) and the second time in two days it is a lot easier
What a wonderful video about Japan!
Excellent video. So informative and culturally connected. Much peace!
