@cb4920 I'll say no to that. Who waste their time locking the column for every pass. No shop I have ever been in does that. Last pass or 2 is good enough, especially if you have a lot of lumber to process.

  • @woodtickgreg6926

@mikehershberger7229 I have no regrets. I did play around with it for awhile to find the sweet spot to create the smoothest pocket of air. I find for around town and speeds below 45 mph I like it on its lowest setting just so I can get a little more air. But on the freeways I pull it all the way up to get the wind to go over my head and yet I can still look over the top of the windshield. If I had it to do all over again I would buy it again because of its adjustability.

@oilerguy5494 Krown is an odor free oil, it is non toxic and has no smell. You can park it on a lawn after it is treated and as it drips on the lawn it won't kill the grass. Krown advises not to park it on a cement driveway for a week, but I do and it doesn't per.anently stain the concrete. It can be washed off. Also do not get a car wash that washes the underbody as it can wash the oil off. I just get the absolute cheapest car wash in the winter to clean the paint, I don't worry about the bottom of the truck, lol. Get it treated annually and your vehicle will last a long time. I just bought a used rust free truck that will be getting the Krown treatment real soon. I swear by any oil based rustproofing method but the Krown dealer near me in Rochester Michigan is awesome and they do good work.

Krown is the best! The problem with the dripless stuff is that it doesn't get everywhere. You need a product with a low enough viscosity to penetrate the same areas that rust causing moisture will. The mess from krown is a small price to pay for a completely coated vehicle.

HERE IS THE MILLION-DOLLAR QUESTION: Will you go to Heaven when you die? Here’s a quick test: Have you ever lied, stolen, or used God’s name in vain? Jesus said, “Whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.” If you have done these things, God sees you as a lying, thieving, blasphemous, adulterer at heart, and the Bible warns that one day God will punish you in a terrible place called Hell. But God is not willing that any should perish. Sinners broke God’s Law and Jesus paid their fine. This means that God can legally dismiss their case: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” Then Jesus rose from the dead, defeating death. Today, repent and trust Jesus, and God will give you eternal life as a free gift. Then read the Bible daily and obey it. God will never fail you.

Yeah well if you don't buy a bike from a shop who is going to fix it? It's the same with all off these Chinese bikes you order online. If they break you have to fix them. If you can't do that then buy a bike from a shop that can do the repairs for you. The Ariel rider x-class is unlike any other bike out there with its 2,000 watt motor and awesome power at its price range. I have almost 3,000 trouble free miles on mine. And yes I know what end of the screwdriver to hold on to and I'm capable of doing my own repairs if need be. Sorry you had problems with yours, most people do not. Pretty bold statement to say they are junk on my video because you had problems but thousands of others have not. And no where on there site do they say they will provide repairs, just cover warranty on parts. I am not sponsored or endorsed by them, just very happy with my bike. I get nothing extra from them, I bought my bike, put it together, modified it, and just enjoy it. If you have an issue with them you need to take it up with them, not me or my viewers that also have these bikes and enjoy them.

hi from the UK i have a 2016 T120 just came back from a ride and i remembered you saying about the bars maybe changing or putting in risers well on my bike there was a cable routing mod to the headstock area which my bike had the mod fitted to alleviate clutch cable rubbing but also i feel to compensate for a lack of cable length in that area to allow full lock to lock turn on the handle bars now i know yours is a later model and i know the rectifier position under the headlamp was changed but be careful to allow sufficient slack in the harness ; lucky for me i brought mine from a main dealer over 2 years ago And 2 weeks into ownership a fault was diagnosed with the main wiring harness, starting indicators , and it needed a complete new harness i dread to think how much that would have cost . since then i now have nearly 16,000 miles on the clock with no issues especially since i fitted Meltzer roadtec 01 tyres/tires front and back enjoy your bike

Nice job and nice machine. The only critique that I have is I didn’t see you check the rear bearing for the auger shaft. Considering the condition of the other ball bearings, the odds of that ball bearing being any good don’t seem high to me. That combined with the regularity of these bearings wearing out on older machines is working against you. I don’t know why I don’t see the folks working on these checking those bearings very often? The only answer I can conclude if they don’t know how to check it, it’s quite simple. You simply remove the top cover grab the pulley and pull upwards. No other disassembly required and the machine should be in normal upright position. If you feel distinct slop, it’s bad. I think when folks try to do this from underneath or in the air with the belly pan off the tension from the belt is enough to throw the test off as well as the weight on the shaft is different. Replacing it well that’s an entirely different kettle of fish. Maybe that’s why they’re not looking. Hint, any pulley keyways, will have bulged the shaft which need to be filed in that area before attempting to disassemble because the shaft will not pull through the bearing. The shaft is so soft, even a minor hammer blow directly to the end of it will mushroom the shaft so it will not go through the bearing! Have your brass drifts handy? This should keep you out of trouble and not needing extreme persuasion a.k.a. acetylene torch and other cuss words!

  • @woodtickgreg6926

Good advise. Even though I did not show it or talk about it I did check that bearing and all others. I only replaced the obviously worn bearings. If I ever have to replace the auger shaft bearing that's an entirely new project for another day. But for now she is working great!

I just installed these bars on my 2022 T-100 today. It was nearly impossible to get any sort of wrench on the nuts. Blood was shed in the effort. But, I ended up using a pair of angled long nose pliers to hold the nuts and that did the trick. Once I figured that out is was a half hour job. They are nice bars for sure. I didn't have to do any grinding. Everything fit very well.

I totally agree with everything you said, I owned a GS and then a Tiger 1200. Great bikes, but not very engaging. I now have a Bonneville T120 Black and absolutely love it. It does everything you need but with style.
