Thank you for speaking out about this. PT and OMM both told me to do chin tucks when I have reversed curvature in my neck and spinal stenosis. As a result I had horrible muscle spasms and nerve pain in the occipital portion of my head. They happen almost immediately after doing that exercise

Hi Doctor, I have disc bulge issue in my L4 L5 region. And it has not gone yet to my legs, thighs or hamstring area. But pain is there in lower back area and keeps radiating right or left and is there almost daily and since many years. I am a regular badminton player and lift weights 4 times a week. I am doing these days after consulting with doctor extension based exercises or exercises which you have told 2-3 times a day and post that doing heat electric belt. Plus doing yoga as well. My question is - how much time it might take to recover? Also, can I continue play badminton and lift light weights simultaneously and heal my lower back. As I am addicted to resistance training and badminton playing.

I definitely have all 3 of these symptoms. MRI said I have L4 L5 and L5 S1 that was over 3 years ago and pain has multiplied X10 !!! I am terrified of having surgery though, I've literally had add probably 100 about having surgery and waking up in a paraplegic. As much agony as I'm dealing with, still rather suffer, than end up in a wheelchair. What are the chances this could happen, I just want/need to hear the straight up truth, answers around the internet very hugely as always, with lots of speculation and half truth's. I would do just about anything to get rid of this pain, but losing my ability to walk is not on that list of just about anything....
