My take on the Tempest build: 8 STR 8 DEX 16 CON 17 INT 15 WIS 8 CHA + 1 Sorcerer (1) + 1 Cleric (2) + 1 Wizard (3) + 1 Cleric (4) + 2 Sorcerer (6) + 6 Cleric (12) Sorc 3 / Cleric 8 / Wizard 1 By focusing on Cleric you get 1 extra charge of max damage per short rest Like to have a Bard on the party for the extra short rest With an item from act 3 that gives another charge, you can do max damage 9 times per long rest Also get to be an decent healer for the party by focusing Cleric Will have less sorcery points as the only negative I really dislike having to long rest a lot (usually Warlock is the only caster I use because of that), so this works better for me

im wondering how a fisherman on e armed build would go
How would you change the build to not use Hand Crossbows? Would Thief still be the best pick? I just hate Hand Crossbows as a concept. Rogue does not get extra attacks though so I get using a Longbow would not be as good. Would going Arcane Trickster be better or melee Thief, maybe?
SMGs crack me up in this game. 1mil bullets...... 5 damage. 😆 Also, you are insane when it comes to your ability to dodge those masses of bullets. O__O

Ceph can you talk a bit more about your software setup for recording? It’ll help us give some tips about the mic. I notice there is quite a bit of hissing when the game is quiet and you’re not speaking. Could be that you just need to turn the gain down a bit (and then speak a bit louder to compensate 😅), or plugins for a Noise Gate or High Pass Filter could help.
Those floaters were sending out a lot of bullets but if you want to see the most they can output try the mage with SMG 😂
The number of times I yelled "roll for ranged damage!" at my computer makes me question my own sanity. Great video, and thank you for making me yell at my laptop!
I did this combo with shuriken. It isn't offered at the start so i got scissors (melee, precise) because they couldn't show up in the shop. Precise is pretty limited if you take out melee options, so rolling into shuriken was pretty easy. Run started off tricky but by the end it was hilariously full of projectiles. Found a sifd's relic on wave 14 and was able to stand still for the next 5 waves, only needing to evade on the bosses. Wished i could have found a pocket factory and a bunch of trees. My % damage never went positive, so being able to stack up engineering would have been really nice. Ended up with improved tools and a laser turret but stopped spending on engineering items when it became clear the RNG wasn't giving me other key items
For my most recent run, I did something similar, being an Arcane Trickster Rogue with 2 levels in Devotion Paladin. That way, I could Smite with my Arcane Trickster Spell Slots and do massive damage then. Honestly one of my fav character builds
I just did a Danger 5 apprentice run and was chasing after max HP. I can see a Apprentice + Mutant run to be quite a challenge for you. Also I have been binge watching all your brotato videos. Brotato have taken over my life!

Can you try Fisherman + Fisherman? I couldn't make it work out, so i'd appreciate some input :) Zero material drop but insane harvesting sounds fun in the late game :)

i said this before, but i quite like paladin 8 warlock 4. going pact of the blade, and having eldritch blast for long range picking. starting as a warlock, until level 4, before respecing into paladin 1, warlock 3, get to warlock 4 for the extra atributtes on charisma, and then go all the way with paladin. i feel like alot of people ignore how usefull having more feats are. from alert, to sentinel or whatever other feat you wish.
glvoes of dex are in NO way required for gloomstalker assassin to be OP. Way too low on this list imho since everyone who plays with only 1 character in honor mode uses this build.
With the new mikrofon i hear more background noises than before.

So Gold-Plated Teeth isn't as broken as you think it is. The price decreases it gives you are mostly offset by the GMO penalties to item prices that the mod inflicts. And the other penalties from the GMO mod are sufficient, in my view, to warrant taking the Teeth off the banned list.

I want to multiclass as Rogue 3 (Theif) and Sword Bard 9, would this be a downgrade from full Sword Bard and if so how much? I've googled this but there's not a lot on this build and even less consensus 😅
can you do old and jack? but also being forced to take any time that reduces enemies further! maybe try and get -100% enemies!!!

Quick question? Why not go for Paladin 2, Sword Bard 10, you get a lot of smie slots, get social stuff from Bard/utlity, and by giving Mintahra also 2 hand crossbows together with soul mark you have very decent range damage with the Bardic attacks and for big bosses you still have a ton of smites. At lvl 10 you take Haste from Magical secrets etc.
Re: Role Balance, it's a reason why wizards (esp. Divination wizards) and Paladins (any of them, really) pair so extremely well together. As a guy who loves maining Ancients Paladins, I knew I loved having Gale in my party for a damn good reason. ^.^
Per Definition, Telekinesis should be B-Tier, bc in some encounters where there is a chasm (but the enemy is far away from it) it has a high chance of just removing 1 annoying non-boss enemy every turn. It's kinda useless in the most difficult fights of Act III, but makes some encounters a bit easier. *SPOILER*: For example, I used it with a potion of speed buffed Orpheus in the Elder-Brain fight to remove 1 dream guardians/illithids per turn, so my party could focus on holding the dragon and getting to the brain quickly. I think in the fight vs Cazador it could remove some of those annoying mummies too, while you have a party member concentrating on Hadar or Cazador paralyzed/holden.
You aided me step by step through my first playthrough as a storm Sorceress & now i find that you have covered Paladin too, you truly are a godsend sir, keep up the great work, heres to another playthrough with your help 🍻

One small note to the build. Getting hit is a core of this build, so according to how the enemy AI work on tactician it will prioritize low AC or concentrating target. You can use this to your advantage by not casting mage armor and get swarmed ez.
there's also a mace from act 3 that does 1d4 radiant damage and gives radiating orb on a hit. it's called the sacred star and you buy it from vicar humbletoes in the stormshore tabernacle. with that mace, the gloves, chest, and ring, you'll be doing 7 turns of radiant damage instead of 6 per hit, or you give yourself a little wiggle room to trade out the gloves for something else you might want while still inflicting 5 turns per hit (so two hits to max out, or spirit guardians and one hit, or a dodge if you've got the holy lance helm and spirit guardians or a hit, etc etc you get it). you could then dip into reverberation for some fun nerfing enemies' dex/str/con saves, or use the gloves of the growling underdog to give yourself free advantage when up against more than one enemy, or craterfish gloves to add even more damage to crits, or use the dark justiciar or flawed helldusk gloves for an additional 1d4 necrotic or fire damage respectively, or gauntlets of hill giant strength so you can use an elixer of bloodlust instead and get a free ACTION which you can then use to attack another two times.
Why take level 5 Sorc and not level 8 Paladin? All you got was Haste.. you could've gotten that from the two bows that let you cast it.. and instead gotten another feat.. which seems much more powerful and difficult to replicate.
