That seemed like a tough run tbh, harder than I would've thought as I generally think of knight as just generally quite strong. A fairy and hunting trophy would've gone hard, but Luck be a fickle mistress! I'm curious how well a mixture of thief daggers and pitchforks would work overall.

I've done one run with pitchfork and yeah, not doing that again as it's pretty bad. While generally a very good/essential item, I'm not sure the Gentle Alien picks were doing you any favors here. Great run though!

This seemed like a run where you were just off a bit. Even if that was the case, you still managed to pull it off. Pretty impressive really. It's not a combo and weapon choice I would want to try.

🔥🔥🔥 also I know you record these in advance so it'll be a while before we can dial anything in, if you let us know what the old mic was and what the new mic is that could help! Also as far as EQ goes, you're definitely sounding a lot thinner. Shifting that EQ curve to the left could help but I have a hunch it's distance-from-the-mic related as well. Edit: but its definitely a big improvement over the elite ilithids video! And its a lot clearer than your old setup too. Once you get it dialed it'll be an even better step up. Depending on which DAW you use, they might have some cool presets you can cycle between! I use logic pro and it does most of the hard work for me ((Edit #2: sounds like you fixed this one in post in response to the elite illithid video issues, the thinness might be the only way to get rid of the boom and echo without re-recording so that tracks)) (((Final edit: if you have more to fix in post depending on your DAW, that annoying reverb from last video might be a very specific frequency or set of frequencies that you can hunt down and squash without affecting your voice too much! Okay really done for today sorry)))

Thanks for the breakdown! I'm using an elgato wave 3 now (it was cheap and reasonably well-reviewed). This was recorded before I got a mic arm so I was probably too far from the pile of books the mic was sitting on, but my most recent one should have a better distance - also of course I have to get used to maintaining that distance while speaking. I was on a 15 year old sennheiser headset before, which is why the audio was crackling - the cord had been frayed nearly all the way through! Currently I'm just using nvidia broadcast and the built in equalizer and compressor in the elgato software, which is mostly what I'm working on tuning - I don't do any postprocessing and likely never will, for daily videos that's just not sustainable. This office is pretty full of books which make for decent baffling, but the upper corners of the room probably need some foam.

Have you tried playing with a controller? I think its easier to dodge and weave with the analogue stick

One of the stranger combinations we've seen, nonetheless you managed to win! I'll possibly be getting the game soon so I'll be able to try out combinations and recommend ones I enjoy!

This is an interesting combo because its debuff is overlapping. Basically, it's a double buff character, I think. But the hunter itself I find pretty weak. Die so many times playing hunter.....
