Fisherman + Artificer is a fun combo - fishing with grenades always feels like cheating, this is no difference :P

Combining Hands in order to buy another seems like it’s always net neutral or positive for harvesting. The worst case is combining two level 2s to buy a level 1 in the shop - which is net neutral.

I did a random/random on GMO and got Cryptid and Explorer. Trying to avoid trees while getting minus 100% material drops from enemies got me a lot of money in the early waves, and very little later.

I had a really interesting run with Apprentice and fisherman it's not super difficult but it is a great time, I ran lightning shivs for fun

Old + engineer!! Really wanna see that combo

Note that killing enemies with this combo is worse. You get .5 materials per enemy, vs .65 from the pacifist.

I'm curious how Explorer would work with Dusty Fedora. I assume it would work like explosion size and just result in a ridiculously sized map. Explorer combined with Cryptid would be wild too.

so on mobile, endless streamer is busted and i've already "broken" the game once in the current run (having so much money will eventually make it negative, and with several stats based on money, they became inverted) wave 88, 60mil hp, 135mil hpr, -202mil dmg, 5200 attack speed (with improved tools), 1200 engineering, 1241 armor (which unfortunately does not change the 99% to 100%), -67mil speed, 4k luck (mostly from crit chance with lucky coin) and with big negative dmg proper and -130 ranged dmg, shredders do massive damage (forgot the +1900 range) so... unkillable but so much lag because of all the structures, takes like 5 minutes just to finish a wave

Level up/Shop at wave 15 was awesome for this end game build

Im this combo, I'd take community support because honestly what else are you going to spend your money on before rerolls get too expensive? Ignoring the offensive items takes away like half of the item pool

Now I'm curious how Demon + Cryptid would go. How would the tree material bonus interact with the material-to-health conversion?

What would the break even point on a happy tomato be, an item that gives you x additional max HP but you take 1 damage every second for the entire wave? Would it ever be good?

Interesting question - obviously that's good at 90+, because then even in the boss wave it's always hp positive, but I think the breakpoint is a lot lower than that. I can see wanting to buy it for 30 max hp on some builds with lots of healing but low health (and of course on bull or masochist it would be incredible)
