Brilliant video as you talked us through what you were doing as you did it, unlike the Keter video where two people just put it together without speaking at all and annoying music playing. Kind of pointless if they don't tell us viewers what they're doing IMO.

Hi Phil, I wonder if you can help me, I've just bought the same saw as yourself but I'm having a problem with changing the blades, I want to change the blade to the fine finish blade but can't seem to get to the nut to alter the nut as there is a very small gap. I wonder if you had the same problem with yours, I hope you can help me with that, thanks. Thankyou Liam Dovetails

Hi Phill, you got some great buys at the car boot sale. Some decent wood chisels and I do like the press drill vice, it looks shop bought but may be home made by an engineer or fabricator. That looks a good scroll saw I could not see what the output was does it say 1/2 hp or 1/4 hp. if its 1/2 hp that is 360 watts or 1/4 hp is 180 watts. there is 720 watts to 1 hp at 230 volts and uses a 5 amp fuse. I do enjoy your car boots buys, some times you get better tools second hand from the car boot. the majority of my power tools are from the car boot sale and all in working order. As always great to watch take care
@PhillWyattProjects3 күн бұрын
Hi Shaun, the power is 1/8 of a horse power so I am guessing around 90w or so? I will have to give it a good cleaning up and start using it soon! Love some of these older tools they seem to be so well made.

Great work, vapour barrier thanks for that I'd forgotten to order mine until I watched this video I'm going to use that bubble wrap foil, I'm midway through making the base for my workshop, it's kind of a hybrid build using a second hand worshop I purchased that needs some TLC plus a new roof and felt plus osb floor it's just so hot right now (not often we say that) but it's really slowing me down, I'm also doing my best to record it all to share on YT I didn't realise how much additional time that also adds as well 👍

Hi Phill, That looks solid and all from pallet wood ,pallet wood can take a lot of weight and to get boards the same thickness is great, I've had pallet wood in the past and they can be different thicknesses and widths. And making good use out of the old pallet nails they a good to use and building sacks make a good vapour barrier any thing like that is good I've used the 1 tonne gravel or sand bags. Looking forward to the next part of your Dad's shed build, catch you soon Take care
@PhillWyattProjects5 күн бұрын
Cheers Shaun 👍🏻 actually I had to pick these boards out from my collection of pallet boards to get them all the same thickness. This took a while. Luckily I always keep a load of boards to work from. I might use the sacks to line the walls also. Want to use up all the stuff I have found recently 😆

Keter Dbl Storage. How easy to get Bins Out & IN? Ramp useful? How to pull bin out without using handle?? I'll explain: After all when LIDS points to Front opening, then HANDLE & Wheels are at REAR, which probably awkward to get @. But I guess it could all be setup the opposite way to intended... : I mean if Handle was at Front, but probably difficult to Back Feed all the rubbish...
